Watching/listening to the tomahawk cheers during Braves’ home playoff games in the 90's is one my most vivid sports memories (and i grew up in CA with no connection to ATL). If it is at all possible to do it correctly, the Braves did/do. Of course, losing a cool sports cheer (or name, or mascot) is pretty low on the

Everybody with an A on their hat was awful in the Braves’ 6-0 loss to start the series.

Last year we went down to North Carolina to watch the solar eclipse. Our plan was to fly from NYC to Charlotte two days before, spend a day there, and then pick a spot in TN or SC the next morning based on weather conditions. We left for JFK about two-and-a-half hours before the flight, which as described above, is

I have no problem with the one-game playoff, but I think they should just seed the teams with the best five records in the league regardless of division. If there are division winners with say, 102, 99 and 88 wins, and two wild cards with 100 and 85, the 85-win team should be in the 1-game playoff rather than the

Yes. This doesn’t explain every case of abuse, but positions of authority in religious organizations are no different from other positions of authority, in that they attract and reward a relatively higher number of sociopaths than are present in the general population. I think in some cases insurance will pay for a reduction if it is deemed medically necessary. Probably an unfairly high hurdle to clear, but it may be an option if you haven’t looked into this yet. Good luck.

The DaVinci Code crosses two different forms of media (books and film).

One of my more memorable food experiences is walking into a McD’s in Australia in 2000 and seeing the Aussie Burger (w/an egg and pickled beets) on the menu. Fried eggs on burgers had only just started to be a thing here and seeing that PLUS beets (“wait a minute... are those... beets?”), in a McD’s of all places, was

Some players are more versatile than others:

Yes, but why? The mold tastes better if there’s still some bread attached to it.

Best to also use it with the regular Chase Freedom for the rotating 5% categories.

And, many people can’t afford (or at least think/feel like they can’t afford) healthier options.

But why kickers?

In some places (NYC, at least) they recently changed it to $2. Still a good deal compared to just about anything else.

I like Trader Joe’s instant coffee, but I’m not much of a coffee snob (and more of a tea drinker) so take that FWIW.

Reading one review is useless. Seeing an average rating after 50+ reviews and/or recurring problems or highlights will tell you something.

Yes, I think there’s definitely a disconnect between how Yelp (and some users/reviewers) and the majority of its users perceive three-star ratings. Yelp even describes a 3-star rating as “A-OK”, but most people I know don’t look favorably upon anything less than a 4-star average.
