My current credit reports on creditkarma indicate that in my case, TransUnion and Equifax treat the “new” card as the same account; the age of the card was not reset to 0 after I switched. As I mentioned in a previous comment, switching from a secured card to one with a regular line of credit might make a difference.

“...but I feel Obama didn’t need porn, because Michelle and Barack seemed like the only Presidential couple this side of non-cheating ass JFK and Jackie-O who actually regularly had sex with one another.”

It does, but if you follow more than one sport, East Coast fans have nothing to complain about.

It also could have been cut in half and not lost any substance, and the subject matter of the clickbait headline was barely relevant to the story.

Championships by time zone since 1/1/2000 across the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL, from a quick scan of Wikipedia articles and my hopefully-accurate knowledge of non-coastal geography:

FTFY. As already noted, even if it isn’t a “scam” in the literal sense, food festivals are almost never worth it and often feel like one even if they deliver what was (technically) promised. Between the crowds, long lines, lack of anywhere to sit and eat, small portions and ridiculous entry fees, they are almost never

If you read my initial post you’d see that I agree that tipping should be abolished, with menu prices and wages raised accordingly (and until that happens, yes everyone should tip at least 15%* - right or wrong, it is part of the social contract of eating out in this country, and anyone who “protests” it by not

“Percentages don’t need to go up with inflation, that’s how percentages work.”

“Possibly 25.”

A corollary to this is that you *can* improve your score by paying off the balance (or most of it) just before each statement period closes. That way your statements will show a zero (or low) balance, which lowers your utilization rate and raises your score. For the purposes of a credit score, the only day your credit

Yep. No one is entitled to the “wedding of their dreams.” They are entitled to what they (or whoever is paying for it) can afford without getting reimbursed by someone else.

She uses bucatini, a tubular pasta that is thicker than spaghetti and has more surface area for sauce to cling.

I also think it is best to add the aromatics after the chicken and broccoli so they don’t burn.

If you don’t want to feel cheap, think of it as not buying yet another disposable object that will end up in a landfill. I thankfully now have enough disposable (ha!) income that I don’t have to worry about a $1 book cover, but the tree-hugger in me still gets a say in many of my purchasing decisions.

If it makes you feel any better, the USPTO would have been unlikely to grant a patent for tomato paste packets. It’s too similar to products already in existence (“prior art”) and/or too “obvious”. And without a patent, as soon as you started selling them, another larger company that can make them more cheaply would

I worked for Trader Joe’s from 2002-2004 and it was a fantastic job. Didn’t pay that great but I had good bosses, great benefits, reasonable schedules, etc. We were not unionized, unlike most of the other grocery chains. I think it may have grown more corporate as the company has expanded but it still seems to be a

It drives me nuts that the vast majority of retirement advice and calculators are based on salary rather than spending. In a vacuum, I make a good salary, but in reality (after student loan payments) it’s not much to brag about. However, once I retire my student loans and mortgage will (hopefully) be a couple decades

When I worked at a Trader Joe’s there was one guy who would come in and break an egg in the carton, then ask if he could have the carton for free.

I think the question is whether they could DH for another player, such as Calhoun (their RF hitting around .200, but with an ML-leading 6 OF assists). Ohtani would pitch and hit, Calhoun would only field, and a bench player would hit for Calhoun. Is the use of the DH limited to replacing a pitcher in the lineup?
