Most do, but it requires digging into settings and such and generally much more of a headache to get working how you want. Not to mention a lot more overhead in running.

Or just plug a controller into PC (which can be a PS4 controller if you don’t have others).

...and as you curse yourself for being so clumsy, Shigeru Miyamoto will bend down to help you. Sheepishly, you thank him, not making eye contact. As you try to grab the last book, his hand lands on top of yours. You look up at him, finally. His eyes are warm, his smile welcoming. After 90 minutes of comic

Loaded it up, figured I’d try and see how far I could get with a character for a mini-campaign a friend is trying to get running. Didn’t get far as they haven’t implemented homebrew races yet, it looks like. Would also need homebrew classes for it to work (it’s very much a custom setting). Oh well. It looks neat and

Oh, missed that bit. Good deal then! Next time we’re up for a D&D campaign I’ll have to check this out.

My group has used various forms of digital storage for years, mostly Google Sheets. More recently Roll20 and the character stuff made on there, mostly since a lot of my group has moved away from each other so online play is the only way to keep going (make new friends where you move? psh). I’m not a huge fan of the

You’re clearly shopping at the wrong ice cream places.

I’m actually curious how much the idols will impact team choice. There’s an obvious overall preference for one idol over the other, but I wonder how much that’ll impact team choice. If it does skew things heavily toward Marina, would Nintendo do anything?

Why just have cake, when you can have cake AND ice cream?

Yeah, that’s the big thing. A lot of them are still on Nintendo consoles, and those that aren’t are still console exclusive. There might be some truth to Game Freak’s stance that Pokémon only works really will on handheld consoles.

I’m kinda surprised that there hasn’t been a third party alternative to Pokémon, really. It would be an uphill battle without the weight of the Pokémon name behind it, sure, but there’s a definite market for even a traditional retro Pokémon style game on non-Nintendo consoles.

Darn, had a faint hope there might be something on the Pro. Oh well, no reason I can’t wait until November.

Endless fetch quests is a problem with many modern RPGs, really. I tend to be of the opinion that if a quest doesn’t offer any interesting world building, challenge, or character development then it shouldn’t exist. If it does so, but does it in a completely time wasting way then it should be reworked. Save that

Played through recently after picking the game up on sale. Despite its flaws, I enjoyed the game. It’s too bad that it seems like with a bit more Dev time it could have been a worthy Mass Effect game, and I really enjoyed the premise behind it.

I don’t have too much interest in leveling up in old content, but every now and then I think I’d like to go and play some old raids. Set up a private server, give everyone appropriate gear, and just run the fights for the fun of it at a LAN party or something.

Kinda surprised it even has an airplane mode, considering airplane mode on my phone only turns off the actual cellular signal. Bluetooth and WiFi are still on, or at least can be turned on. Should just be called battery saver mode or something.

Might be a gameplay mechanics choice to aid in platforming. Makes it easier to gauge where you’re going to land in the 3D space.

All ships are pirate ships. The pirates are just letting the ships be used for other things until they need them.

My first thought was for piracy/security reasons, but I’m not familiar enough with the tech to say why USB connected would be less secure. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any reason, so maybe not. Possibly some exploit or something they’re avoiding.

Looks neat, and like it’s a good fit for Switch. I hope the auto aim is only for when you’re just using a single joy-con, though, or at least an option to toggle.
