That might work for mild allergies, but like many of the posters here, my allergy to cats is severe and can be life threatening. A bath isn't going to cut it.

It's not about sneezing. For many posters, including myself, cat allergies are life threatening. It triggers severe asthma, hives all over my body, and my eyes swell shut. I have other environmental allergies, but nothing comes close to what a cat does to my body.

When I was a kid, I loved going to my towns public library, not just for the books, but for reading hour, plays, installations and community events. I also have a severe, life-threatening allergy to cats, which shots failed to remedy and symptom treatment provides insufficient relief.

I have a severe allergy to cats; it triggers life-threatening asthma attacks, hives all over my body, and my eyes swell shut. Small amounts of dander may make me sneeze and give me a few hives, but it's not in the same league as a resident cat. Symptom treatments, like inhalers and benadryl, don't do the trick if

Didn't work for me, and symptom treatments don't make a sufficient dent. Cat hair triggers severe, life-threatening asthma attacks, hives all over my body, and my eyes swell shut.

Loving's due process analysis was entirely about the intersection of fundamental rights and racial classifications:

Watched this last night. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1745862/ It was excellent; all A-list acting in a made-for-tv movie.

Rape is considered a local crime that must be handled by a state's police powers. Congress tried to provide a federal civil remedy to victims of gender-based violence under the Violence Against Women Act, but the Supreme Court struck that portion down as unconstitutional in United States v. Morrison, 529 U.S. 598

I couldn't take my eyes off her. I watched that awful movie numerous times just 'cause she was so riveting.

Solitary confinement and social and sensory deprivation cause and exacerbate psychiatric disorders and generally increase violence following release. Indiscriminately subjecting all prisoners to such confinement would certainly violate the 8th amendment (which proscribes punishment that is disproportional,

Fair trade is a fallacy. It doesn't help the individuals it's meant to assist and it's basically a marketing organization that makes a tidy sum from licensing. I don't know the current state of Lululemon's inventory, but they've produced well-made clothes in the past in range of styles (the same appeal as denim bars).

To be fair, many women wear Lululemon not as exercise gear, but as casual clothing, the same way women wore Juicy Couture velour jumpsuits a decade ago. They want flattering, well-made options and they're willing to pay for them. Considering how much jeans cost at department stores, the price tag doesn't seem that

I know that Massachusetts and Virginia do not require sex reassignment surgery to change drivers' licenses; they only require a sworn statement by a health care or mental health professional that the individual is the new gender. To change gender on a passport, the State Department only requires a statement from a

It doesn't appear that the Smith definition requires surgical transition. Rather, it is dependent on the individual states' definitions of sex/gender, which often do not require genital surgery.

I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant and my hormones are out of whack, but I actually teared up at that.

The standard for rape under the Ohio criminal statute concerns whether "the victim's ability to resist or consent is substantially impaired because of a mental or physical condition"; that is, whether the victim was so intoxicated that her physical or mental capacities were impaired (e.g., she was rendered incapable

Quoting from the case:

I don't understand what you're saying; your last sentence is confusing. I also don't understand what you mean by "their [sic] is no legal level of intoxication for someone under 21." We're talking about the victim's capacity to consent, not whether liquor laws were violated. A minor can be voluntarily intoxicated; the

Read the rest of the sentence. The second clause requires that "the offender knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the other person’s ability to resist or consent is substantially impaired because of a mental or physical condition"

...but there's no nexus with the issue of consent and rape. I am a lawyer.
