I disagree entirely. The auto-dimming mirror in my Mustang sucks. I sit up high enough that unless the vehicle behind me is just far enough off my ass that I can see the lights, it isn't dimming automatically, never mind when their lights are clearly visible and an annoyance when the vehicle is 10 feet further back

In about a decade when the Feds mandate ONE TYPE of TPMS Sensor and the prices plummet on them from the astronomical price they currently demand, then and only then will I be OK with them... for now... the only wheels I own that have TPMS sensors are my stock wheels... neither set of my competition wheels have them

A Preliminary Breath Test (PBT) machine is only as accurate as the calibration. It sounds to me like the calibration was screwed up. By the time you feel a good buzz you are in that .05-.08 range for an "average" drinker.

I've arrested or been involved in the arrest of two people for DUI's that were above .3 (one was .333 and the other was .389) and neither were dead or about to be dead. There are functional alcoholics in this world that look, act, and appear normal at BAC's as high as .25...

This is not true for the US. NHTSA's guidelines and most state statutes outline impairment as the minimum. If I can show you were impaired, your BAC is entirely irrelevant. Showing impairment is then up to the officer's observations both during the contact and during testing and how well he can articulate them in

As an observation, Torch's post, while well thought out and laid out is not TECHNICALLY true. The legal limit in the USA is at "Impairment". I can, and have, shown impairment at values as low as .04. Impairment sufficient for a DUI arrest. The .08 grams/100ml of blood or .08 grams/210ml of breath is the illegal

Shocker, it was held on by a couple of bolts....

I wouldn't have an issue with this except that the current Camaro has the outward visibility that a piece of dental floss could easily remove... I also don't see why they'd keep this same design when their competition is moving to a more modern (and grown up) look.

State of Nebraska allows me to take anyone to jail who refuses to sign the ticket. The ticket is your official court summons, failure to sign the ticket means that you most likely wont show up in court and in order for me to ensure you show up in court to defend yourself from accusations made by the state (me, as a

That or a Mustang:

There is a new version of the RS3 that Tire Rack lists as the RS3V2. The new tire has the same tread design but uses a silicon heavy tread compound. This improved the cold weather and wet grip and retained the life of the RS3. The RS3V2 lost some of the heat tolerance of the RS3V1.

How much higher? Some say up to 8000 RPM. Which, on a V8, I think we can all agree is bonkers.

Also:

To add to this, your Miranda rights are only triggered by two things: Police Custody, either defacto (you are under arrest) or implied (presence of officers preventing you from leaving) and questioning. The Supreme Court has already determined that a traffic stop is not considered being in custody. It falls under

It's either working hard (and being exhausted) or serious depression or absolute horror... one of the three....

Indeed it was but the F16 utilizes a standard wing profile in comparison to that of the F117. They generate lift in two completely different ways. The avionics package to control that is far more extensive than that of the F16's. This lead to other changes in wing profiles that required better computers.

Pressurization, remote gun turrets, tricycle landing gear. It defined the idea of a modern bomber. One called Enola Gay also changed the world.

The F117 had a HUGE impact on flight avionics. It was a proof of concept that an aircraft that is extremely aerodynamically unstable can indeed be flown through the use of computers. I would imagine the technology spent in getting that aircraft to fly paid huge dividends in the commercial aviation side with fly by

I think people are getting hinged up on this idea that "uses fancy device, pulls you over with no other supporting facts." As it stands right now, I doubt HIGHLY that NHTSA, the body that will most likely take over certifying these units or proving their legality, would allow an officer to use this device as the SOLE
