Even better - my mom called me last month to rave about it AGAIN, because I froze the remainder for them to have later. Also, they were huge fans of the apple crumble, which I also made before I left. They no longer worry I'm surviving on ramen and peanut butter.

Oh, right. I had forgotten about that. Not Jezebel's finest moment.

I don't recall this happening - can you link to the Jezebel article to which you're referring?

I did a quick search on the site and found this quote: "We've been asked to use them in the past, and refused, on the grounds that our headlines convey the information needed to determine if a post is triggering." from this post: http://jezebel.com/5516969/trigge…. I've been reading Jezebel since 2007 pretty

Jezebel actually has a stated policy about not posting trigger warnings about anything, anywhere. They do warn of spoilers, though, so maybe you're thinking of that? As I recall, the idea is that the point of the post is clear in the title, and a reader can determine from that title if it would be triggering to read

Be REALLY careful doing this though. If you make something worse, you will have to pay for that extra cost. Plus you run the risk of voiding a warranty or damaging something else. Generally, landlords would prefer that you just call them.

I agree with you, but I'm not sure what you're getting at exactly. All of those were true for me for both undergrad and law school loans, and I still applied for loans (the regular government/school ones, not crazy high interest private ones), and was granted them, without a co-signer. This wasn't a million years

Nope. I took out loans for undergrad and law school myself, without a co-signer for anything. I'm currently sitting on $180,000 in debt that I racked up, all by myself. And this was straight out of high school and straight out of college. Of COURSE they'll give you loans. Just like they'll give you credit cards on

Unless the laws have changed, that's not true. My parents didn't co-sign my undergrad loans. There may be specific ones that you can only get through/with your parents, but there is no rule that you can't go to college without your parents co-signing.

Why is he the worst? I've never heard of anyone not liking him before. Am I living under a rock?

I now feel like I'm 100 years old.

Success! This turned out to be absolutely amazing, like dishes of yours I've tried. The family raved, my mom was practically drooling into the pot during the second hour of cooking, and I had an excuse to consume the copious amounts of red wine I insisted was suggested in the recipe. I'll wow them with the apple

Thanks! I'm making this tonight and don't want the family to rebel on me.

Don't forget the third wish - a trip to Disney World for the new family! All the feels.

Albert, am I supposed to put the anchovy fillets in whole? Do I also serve them or take them out when I take out the bay leaves/thyme? Will they shrink with cooking?

It could be in between takes. Photos from set often have actresses in slippers/Uggs on their feet, while otherwise in costume. If I had to stand around in heels for hours on end in the cold, I'd definitely break out the Uggs when I could. Even if they're hideous.

While this is an interesting aspect to a possible story, she didn't indicate that her friends were black. Or in the industry. She may be making a much broader point about the women in her life.
