Lightsaber kitty gif party!

Darth isn’t a name, it’s a title.

I had never seen a Star Wars movie in the theater before the current one. I was born in ‘77 so the originals passed me by until I saw them on TV -and I had no interest in the prequels- but I went to see The Force Awakens and absolutely loved it. It’s nice to feel a part of the whole thing, too.

Yeah, I can't imagine what this means to people with fertility issues. :/ Many people don't have that kind of time to wait.

I trust Jonathan with everything.

I don’t care about them, but I care about their poor children who have no control in the matter.

That was actually the thing I liked least in the movie. Almost everyone had a one syllable name. Rey, Ren (Granted, it’s Kylo Ren), Poe, Finn, Maz. The actor playing Maz Kanata is named Lupita N’Yong’o. Her real name is more Star Wars than her Star Wars name.

One could probably make a moral argument for wearing rabbit fur, given that rabbit meat is commonly eaten by lots of people, and the fur might as well be put to use, given that the rabbit sure ain’t using it anymore. But how many times have you eaten mink? Or chinchilla? Or sable? Or pine marten?

That’s the one. I’ve seen conflicting reports on the vaccination rates at the temple school across Barrington, but the latest data suggest that only 80% of kindergartens are up to date on all vaccines. That's enough for me to put off buying cereal until after the kids have gone to bed.

That’s exactly what they are, a pretty choking hazard.

THIS. I had the MMR vaccine as a kid and then again as an adult because when I was preparing to try to conceive, tests showed I hadn’t developed an immunity to rubella, aka German measles, which can cause serious problems for the baby if you get it when you’re pregnant. After the second vaccination, they tested me

My husband wanted to do an alternative vaccine schedule (where we do all the shots, but maybe not getting four in one visit) and I was THRILLED when our pediatrician and every pediatrician we interviewed told us no. They would do vaccines and on schedule and if we didn't like it, we could find another doctor. Luckily,

My pregnant SIL in law in Marin County was anti-vaccine, until her niece, whom she lives with, was diagnosed with whooping cough. She changed her tune real quick after that.

Enh, I think there are shades between “I like Thai and my friend like Japanese” and “I vaccinate, but my friend believes in putting her kids and everyone they come in contact with at risk of potentially deadly diseases”.

You’re not wrong. That said, science isnt the answer, because if it was, people wouldnt think this way. Education isnt either - people obviously dont listen. The only thing that seems to work is social pressure, which rarely looks like being nice. People tend to ignore the advice of their friends until it starts to

No, she is friends with people who are willing to let OTHER people’s children die.

To put it rather nastily - you’re friends with people who are willing to let their children die because of their beliefs. Get new friends.

Well I do believe kids need to build their immune system. This can be achieved by playing in dirt, being sick from time to time, but vaccines are there to help. If I have kids, I will vaccinate. Sorry, you can't build an immunity to polio.

Great observation. I have owned my agency for almost 30 year. (I am a woman) I have seen a change to be more equitable for a career. With consolidation and the Internet..I have had to hire and train the best. The agents are not the order takers of the 80’s and 90’s, but very intelligent hard working people. Many have
