I'm glad Rep. McMorris Rodgers and her husband had government healthcare to help them look after their children.

Well, we're going to find out what their reasoning is since that's a key part of this lawsuit. Unless they pay the litigants off to make it go away. Maybe they'll make the argument that when you add in all the free stuff cheerleaders get, it complies with the law. I'm rather skeptical of that.

The Raiders are a notoriously cheap franchise, though. It's a small market team and they share it with the 49ers. Their ownership is not wealthy by NFL standards and they nickel and dime everyone. The coaches. The equipment guys. The office staff. The gardeners. Even the players. The Raiders are very, very cheap.

I would add only that the cheerleaders I have known love cheering. Would they like to be paid more and have a few less hours? Absolutely. Who wouldn't want that? But most of them would cheer even without a pay raise. That might seem crazy to many/most of you, but it is true in my experience. I think they need/deserve

This is standard NFL practice. Pretty much all the referees have real jobs outside of the NFL because they need them to live on. In fact, some NFL refs are very prominent lawyers, doctors, businessmen. They work all week at their "real jobs" and then do their game during the weekend. It's a serious commitment. They

I have never watched this show so all I know about this woman is what I just read, but it seems like she doesn't need any more children. In fact, having children in the first place was a bad idea — at least for the children. Her bank account may have temporarily expanded, but the kids will probably never benefit from

I understand this woman will share her $8 billion inheritance with you if you will wire her the $10,000 she needs to file the necessary legal papers to finalize her parents' will.

If other women come forward as a result of this YouTube video, their testimony would not be tainted. Only the testimony of Jamie X would be inadmissible.

She resigned before she was fired or driven from the school by a mob of angry parents.

I'm a male. When I was 11 my babysitter, a high school girl with the best reputation you could imagine, grabbed my genitals, took off her clothes, tried to get me to take off mine. It was a nightmare. I didn't speak about it for years because I assumed no one would believe me. Her reputation was that squeaky clean.

A-fucking-men.

The SoL may have run out on that woman's predation against Jamie X, but if she molested Jamie X, she most likely molested others more recently. If that is the case, let's hope they come forward and justice is done on this vile creature.

The Washington Post has a profile today of the anti-choice movement's two young leaders. They're from northern Virginia, under 30, and mobilizing a new generation of activists to deny abortion rights to women.

I don't care about sports and neither do my friends. Becoming emotionally invested in a team playing a game that you are not part of is completely absurd.

If you want to see euphoria, join them to watch their favorite sports teams. If they're anything like me, you'll see euphoria — if things go well. If not, well...

Affluent white males didn't invent trash-talking and they didn't perfect it either. All dudes do this. I'm an affluent white male and the race-baiting trash talk I got when I played hoops in DC with blacks guys was epic. Never let it bother me, never let it get to me. Nobody was racist, they were just trying to get

Are you a successful woman? Well, your man is probably somewhere in the house crying about that.

It seems pretty likely Cowell doesn't particularly care to be in the presence of this woman's son so why would he help her out in that area? He screwed up by impregnating a married woman and now he's stuck with her. At least for now. It wouldn't surprise me if keeping that custody agreement in place is Cowell's way of

I think Jerry Seinfeld already answered that question.
