A lot of police agencies have learned that running social media accounts “humanizes” the police in the public’s eye and helps their image. They usually aren’t portrayed well in the media, so then everybody thinks they’re militant, robotic assholes. This is their way of showing, “Hey, this is some of the wacky stuff we

You have ZERO evidence to suggest this thread wasted any police time. It could easily have been passed on harmlessly by dispatch to some intern running the twitter.

Okay Chad.

You must be a lot of fun to be around.

Settle down, Chad and/or Karen.

Or…maybe we all need a few more reasons to smile now and then.  With the petulent assholes taking over the planet, what else do we have?

Because I don’t *have* to wait 10 minutes if the person in front of me isn’t being an inconsiderate idiot. If I have to wait 10 minutes because someone is doing things in an efficient and considerate way - fine, that’s perfectly acceptable. It’s when people decide that their convenience outweighs that of someone else

Why? If you have the cash, why would I use a debit card over a Credit card? Know how many free flights I’ve gone on because I use a Credit card instead of a debit card?

Using a credit card has nothing to do with spending money you don’t have.

Reasonable arguments! But there are some reasons I can think of:

Congrats on picking those cherries.

It won’t have even remotely the same effect. Honestly, I’m willing to say that a second (smaller but still severe) home loan bust is far more likely than an auto-loan bust that has a meaningful impact.

Cars keep getting more expensive, the amount of money/loan payments are going to keep getting more expensive. The problem is wage growth not matching or exceeding consumer goods.

It expensive to be poor in America.

Hey, since you have to have some trouble reading, I’ll quote the relevant portion of the post here:

“Big. Effin. Deal. So yeah, she was wrong.”

What a world we live in...lying through your fucking teeth is considered no big deal. One of the very first things a child is taught in the realm of morality, is no big deal.

Personally, I’m beyond sick of people accepting of blatant lies as being perfectly OK.

She literally lied. I don’t know how else to put this.

Whoever approved the name Bolt after already having a Volt model name should be fired. Incredibly easy to misunderstand Bolt versus Volt if someone is talking.

It’s different when the CEO unambiguously claims that none of their things break, when they in fact do. If she didn’t make that claim, no one would care because, like you said, things fail.

Wow, you electric guys are really touchy. Fact is, she did make a false statement, at least based on the way she worded it.
