Um, because I'm allowed to. Same reason you replied.

Exactly why I am not going to use it. More power to you if you choose to.
These are just logos in boxes. Windows 8 is all about live tiles. Thanks but no thanks.
It is not a touchscreen.
Nah not those mom-jeans Steve wears.
Tweetdeck for Chrome is essential for me now, especially on my Chromebook. The fact that it can also manage Facebook feeds and notifications make it a near-complete social networking hub.
They already have the song on their iTunes Store servers. If what I've read is correct, the service wont be streaming your actual files, rather the actual matching iTunes Store server file. If this is true I don't really feel inclined to buy a song for $1.29 then pay an addition $25 a year on top of that to stream the…
I've had some issues with 11.04 as well. After awhile, it won't let me install packages/programs at all. It'll let me search and navigate the Software Store, but clicking install presents me with a few different ERROR popups. It leads me to believe there is a serious bug somewhere in the library (vague, no?).
The original Omnimo was based on WP7 mockups. You dare to imply Microsoft blatantly copied a Rainmeter skin, and not the other way around?
I think it looks great. Metro UI is absolutely gorgeous as far as I'm concerned. I spent 10 minutes with a WP7 phone in AT&T the other day and was flat-out amazed at how integrated and smooth the whole interface was. That being said, I have been a fan of the Metro UI since the Zune desktop player came out. Here's to…
That would be called "the government dictating the prices of products and services of a private industry" or "Socialism" by the right-wing in no time flat.
It's not being "forced upon desktop and laptop users." If you notice, this showing is mainly for Windows 8 tablets. Also I'm fairly certain there will still be an option to turn off the tile interface revealing a traditional wallpaper/icon interface for Windows 8 desktops and laptops.
There have been Windows touch tablets for years. Pretty much everyone agrees that touchscreens are the future. It isn't "me too" it's "touchscreens are the future" for lack of a wittier rebuttal to your nonchalant instigating.
Ugghh. Got a Google Music invite 6 days ago now. Still only uploaded a 5th of my 10,000 song-library, at a constant connection rate. Suddenlink is going to be pissed this month.
I'm inclined to agree. I used Google Reader's website forever, but just recently started using NewsBlur, which is also a browser-based website (that admittedly feels as familiar as a native OSX application) that syncs beautifully with Google Reader.
PROTIP: Stop buying white plastic gadgets.
Excited for this. Is MobileMe still on track to become free?
Haha seriously. Though half the fun of borrowing someone else's computer is seeing how they have everything set up. My friends get a little offended when I log off my main user account and switch to a guest account for them to use.
I can see this album cover on one of VH1's future episodes of "I Love the..." decade shows being ridiculed incessantly. History will not look favorably upon that album cover.
My stepfather just "won" one of these from a vacation resort here in the Southeastern U.S. He gave it to me out of frustration of it not booting up at all. I press the button on the screen and all I get is a white screen. I've never used WinCE 6.0 but in my short time Googling I did come across this exact model, in…
