That looks really, really fun! I've been so engrossed in Pokémon Y that I've lost a sense for how slow it can be. This looks like the perfect game to play next!

Let me say this: I love Nintendo. Not to the exclusion of other manufacturers, but they produce great games that I love to play. I respect that they follow their own map through the industry; Nintendo can be counted on to release great first-party titles that are often well regarded years after release. With that…
Actually, I said that it reminds me of 3DO. The 3DO was $700 dollars when it was released, and it was a console standard that many different manufacturers could produce. These machines are meant to be gaming consoles, they're comparably priced but still a bit expensive, and they're made by many different…
It's going to drive me crazy unless I say it; this reminds me of 3DO. I'm really hoping they pull it off successfully, it's a very bold move in my opinion.
At first I was taken aback by his brazen comments. After finishing the article, I have a clear picture of an individual who is supremely confident in his convictions. This was a great read.
Seeing articles like this makes me miss SEGA. They're still around of course, but that undefinable "something" they had in their prime seems lost. I still keep faith in them though!
I agree with your sentiment! As long as a game is fun to play, the "Formula" shouldn't matter so much. While I do enjoy the menu-driven JRPG's of SE's past; if they create a game that's fun to play then the customer wins.
and his back was broken.
I laughed heartily at this! Funny as it is, here in southern MD that attitude is all too common. Good on you for the satire!
My sympathies go out to the launch day consumers. I was lucky enough to experience the RROD of death and the PS3's yellow light failure personally. This new generation is the first where I've decided to sit out until perhaps the first hardware re-design, so these types of problems can be ironed out. Anyway, my…
The new consoles each have promising futures, but little gaffes like this affirm my choice to wait a while to pick them up. Hopefully all the bugs get worked out and each can deliver on said promise.
Thank you! I'm glad that I'm seeing more people calling out those who want to poo-poo a game that's barely gotten into development just because it looks like there might be something different about it. Seriously? "Super Metroid has nicer color & bigger sprites; it's the worst game ever!" Sheesh. Rant over.
Yes! I remember this! Thanks for jogging my memory
The first time I played Mario 64 was at Blockbuster kiosk as well! Very cool to hear your account of it, because it's a very vivid memory for me.
I definitely can get behind your reasoning in regards to how side dish looks like chipped up potatoes. That seems like it would be the best answer :) When I think of potato chips, I would describe them as crunchy and not crispy. Perhaps our friends across the pond use crispy as their adjective more uniformly than we…
I apologize for my lateness to this thread; how did the name for the snack-food "crisps" come around? I have always been curious about that one!
I'm hearing from this review that there is a good Sonic game to be had. That's good enough for me. I miss Sonic games, and when Sega was a major player on the console & software stage.
THE BULLET IS ENOURMOUS!
I've not heard that quote, thank you for sharing that!
With the government shut down, I've been defunded of my ability to pronounce John Boehner's name correctly. Couldn't resist that joke! Anyway; I'm just hoping there will be some eleventh-hour deal to avoid crippling the economy.
