Really? I thought Resurrection was an interesting Alien film that brought some new stuff to the table, although it wasn't really that good. Why do you hate it so much?

Huh. Guess I was more objective that day than I use to be. I'll try to clarify - I hate that people say that "it's a masterpiece", etc., when it's really just an okay action movie. IMO, Cameron ruined the entire franchise with that film and in the process he made a decent action flick. Nothing more.

My favorite is Alien. Then it's Alien: Resurrection, Alien 3 and Aliens. I really, really hate Aliens. With a passion.

I like the third one for exactly that reason, though the slasher/splatter-aspects of it were pretty dull, the film is a wonderfully bleak thriller.

I've never seen it myself. Maybe I should take a look...

Sincerely; thank you for that. Really made me laugh. VERY appreciated. ;)

I think we all know where we really came from...

Can't wait to see the trailer for this. It's coming out tomorrow!

You are. It'll easily be six more seasons of the show (maybe more) before they're done adapting A Dance with Dragons. In that timespan, GRRM will probably finish and release at least one book, and be hard at work with a new one.

Not to mention Robb being a tactical genius. (Okay, that's a bit of a reach, but still) Catelyn releasing Jaime, Robb forgiving her because of "love", then it's revealed he's married another girl out of love, which means Catelyn can't throw one of her usual temper tantrums regarding love and honor, because they'll

I... really don't know why they keep releasing clips, trailers and TV spots. If you've watched all of them (or hell, just the first two trailers), you basically know the entire film.

I'm with you on this one. Really.

Completely agree.

Got to you in what way? An emotional way or? Because it didn't really work that well for me, emotionally. It was very neatly done, though. Even if you kinda saw it coming.

Yeah. I had pretty low expectations though. I was pretty much going for "This is going to be enjoyably terrible". I was happy to find it more enjoyable than terrible.

I just came home from it, and although it wasn't the "best movie ever", it s good, zany alien fun. And that's what I wanted from it. I was pleased, but not really surprised. It was a cool film, and a good sequel.

That was explained by a throw-away line from the son of the guy who created the time-travel-gadgets.

Holy shit so many great actors! The plot sounds very interesting too... Looking forward to this.

I did too!

"And if we do Men in Black 4, we can maybe go to other planets." Oh, fuck you. I thought I was going to be able to convince myself not to see the third one, because it's probably bad, even though I liked the two first and thought the trailer for this one looked interesting.
