Dark Rising sounds great!
Dark Rising sounds great!
Not if you're talking about the American remake, it isn't!
Um, am I the only one who feels RIDICULOUSLY spoiled after watching that Awake-promo? Especially the very last image?
I think it was in the writers' universe too.
Holy shit this looks great. Lovecraft, Cthulhu-mythos AND games! I am so freaking in. :D
Hey, Dead Shadows looks awesome!
Yay! Looking forward to it. :)
It is getting a lot of indie-hype, but it's so cleverly made, in every aspect. BTTF and Primer are two completely different time-travel movies - one takes a fun and "blockbuster"-approach to it, while the other deals in the dark, real-life consequences of messing with time.
But it's not a time travel-movie, though. It's more of a loop-thing, with added mythology. I'd actually describe it as "twisty supernatural horror", because the nature of the loop has to do with Greek mythology, death and redemption.
I'm really hoping they don't kill any of the other players now - we've been through this entire thing with Castiel, Bobby, etc, and I think the only thing it's shown us is that this show works best when it's an ensemble, not just the two boys.
He hasn't written it. He's plotted this. Christos Gage is scripting it. ;)
Hey hey! I didn't have the chance of THAT, but I watched the last season of Buffy when I was in 7th grade, and Serenity in 8th Grade. Had no idea it was the same guy until a friend lent me Firefly and my mind was blown. Since then I've followed him pretty close - watched Dollhouse when that was on (such a good show,…
I'd be up for that too! :) Seriously, I'm going to see whatever these two put out, no matter what I think or feel about it beforehand. Cabin was great, they're both great writers AND directors, and I'm glad to see them succeed like this.
Ugh, I've only seen it once and am ACHING to see it again. My expectations were way too high and I was spoiled rotten, so I didn't love it. I did like it a whole lot though, and I've bought the Visual Companion, which is utterly fantastic.
This looks magical, fantastic and wonderful. I'd love to see it someday, if it ever reaches my part of the world.
Well, they have no artistic integrity, so they're not ruling it out says Whedon here:
THIS! I'm only looking forward to the finale for two reasons; 1) We get to hear "Carry On My Wayward Son" again, which is so, so, so awesome and gives me shivers. 2) That this Leviathan-thing ends. Seriously. I was so psyched when this season started, and the first three-four episodes were so good, but they've really…
I'll have Goners, In Your Eyes, Dr. Horrible 2, Avengers 2, a sequel to Cabin in the Woods (Goddard and Whedon have said they're both interested, and I'd LOVE to see what they can come up with, especially considering how the original ends), a new television show, Wastelanders, Much Ado.... Erm.
In my theater, everyone was quiet during that scene. I really wanted to shout "Fuck you Joss Whedon!" but I didn't.
WHAT A CAST!
