Calculus is my favorite Tintin character. If he isn't featured in the sequel, I'll go insane. He's so cool! :)

It's actually not a shaky-cam movie (well, the original isn't) - it's professionally filmed one-take horror film. Very fluid.
She's psychologically insane.
no problem. ;)
I don't mind:
Sadly, it looks like they've kept the ridiculous, stupid and clichéd twist from the spanish (?) original. Sigh.
Whops, forgot that. Sorry. :(
Yeah, that was it. I remembered that there'd been another "time-slip" but didn't remember what happened during it. Thanks. ;)
No, no - this was immediately where my thoughts went. I mean, we already know he's coming back, and this is as good a way as any (though we don't know what way this is yet :P).
That beer-thing happened two times during the episode, but I don't remember the second one.
Yup, that's what I got out of it too. It was heartbreaking actually, to see how he tried to smile and couldn't quite pull it off - he used a moment to convince himself.
THIS. Was so sad when it was put on hold.
David Lynch's films are like Lovecraftian monsters - your brain turns to mush by watching them, and just when you might think you've got a hold on whatever is going on, it all goes down the toilet again.
I went to this thread specifically for seeing if anyone had written this comment, thinking "Don't fail me now, Niners!". And we didn't. As usual. ;)
The Cosmic Cube basically is that.
Oh my god that is brilliant!
I've read some of the Mignola-comics (the first two TPB's I think) so getting into the story and universe shouldn't be a problem. I'll be reading these pretty quickly when I can get my hands on them, so the bigger picture will be nicely formed I think. :)
I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip. :)
Didn't know they'd collected everything so neatly. Yay for that! :)
Hey, thanks! That's really helpful. :)
