I've only read the first book. I didn't expect much of it, but I was overwhelmed over all the cool worldbuilding, interesting ideas and a really cool plot.

That was the actor speaking.
You know, I actually had to google that reference.
OH GOD YES, THE "I, Frankenstein"-THING IS BACK ON! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Hm. Definitively see your point.
Have you actually seen an old movie on Blu-Ray? Because I watched Forbidden Planet (1950's) and thought "here we go, horrible effects ahoy", but they weren't bad at all. Actually, the film looked amazing.
I love the thought of Religion; not as much what people do with it. Supernatural is probably the best long-running show I have ever seen - it not only tells an incredibly cool and twist-y story, but it does so with great characters, decent effects and tons of humor (along with a dash of angst). It's as if someone…
Well, W13 is more of a steampunk-fantasy than Sci-Fi, but if you're looking for smart and well written I'd go for Fringe. Supernatural is also smart and well written (though you might get tired of the Cthulhu's Tux-thing after a while - [tvtropes.org] )
You know, I really haven't been feeling this season of Warehouse 13. I mean, it's great that you focus on characters and their relationships but let's be honest; you're not Breaking Bad or anything. You're a fun sci-fi/fantasy/steampunk show with good characters and entertaining enough plots. And that's all right! So…
I'm just going to repeat some of the things I said at the O-Deck right after the episode;
These last two episodes have been FANTASTIC! It looks like Supernatural is finally going to be one huge serialized story, much more than the last seasons (though I hope we get some good standalones. Some of the best SPN-episodes have been standalones).
I thought this was a phenomenal episode. (Note: This might have something to do with my fascination for serial killers and my love of science fiction.)
So, so psyched on American Horror Story. Please don't disappoint... Please?
I'm guessing Lance Reddick's character in alt-universe. :)
I can tell you!
Right there with you concerning Pacific Rim. I need to see just how awesome this'll be.
This article did three things for me;
Have you seen Super 8 or Attack the Block? Both great movies carried by young performances. It can happen. :)
Yeah, this season, with all its complexities, mysteries and reveals, has appeared a lot less straightforward than what it has ended up to be.
And if we could have a realistic story about their life, it would've been PERFECT!
