argh, you beat me to it! :P

FOX is calling it an original flick, with certain ties to the first ALIEN-film. They're deliberately not telling us whether the movie takes place in the Alien-universe or not. We don't know. They're just saying "vague ties". That could mean anything from it being in the same universe to "the films are driven by the

Compared to Guillermo del Toro's slate, Ridley Scott's is a walk in the park.

AHAHA, that is brilliant. Hearted. :)

Let's hope this'll go the same way as his ALIEN prequel did;

And it's called AWAKE! ;)

Have you seen season 6? Because it's not Cthulhu. However, there is a character who have (sort of) turned INTO Cthulhu.

You know, I keep hoping that DC will make the Nolan-flicks continuity by saying that this is the world BEFORE Superman and Magic and Aliens and superpowered interdimensional beings, etc. The new Superman movie is supposed to be Clark Kent "awakening his powers" while he's OLDER, right? So why don't turn Superman's

It is SURREAL! And of course I cannot WAIT! :D

Here's some proof - the reason "Die Hard with a Vengeance" and "Live Free or Die Hard" may not feel like DIE HARD-movies is because they weren't. They were scripts for stand-alone action flicks which were bought and then shoehorned into a successful franchise.

I'm still awaiting the Skulduggery Pleasant-adaptation. Wit, dark prophecies (though not until the third and fourth book), magic, Ireland, Cthulhu-like beings, YA, and oh my god did I mention the wit?

This may be correct... but the book would be hard to adapt; it's a bunch of transcribed interviews. And the screenplay, by J. Michael Strazkynski nonetheless, is supposed to be a good adaptation of the source material. Of course they've made changes (what adaptation doesn't?) but people who've read the screenplay,

It doesn't seem like a joke...

I'm pretty sure they're aware of it, yes, seeing as they're adapting it into a movie.

I'm suddenly very concerned that the SyFy Executives just said to all the writers of their respective shows "Why don't we do a crossover with X?" with no plan. I think the crossover-thing should be done with a plan, a reason for it to happen, or them to do it. "Hey, let's do a crossover!" should be instantly followed

Watch it again.

*insert obligatory End of the World-joke here*

Regardless, Doctor Who comes back (as in NEW EPISODES) 27th of August. So shut up and start SQUEEING! :D

I agree with you on that. :)

My God, even the IMDB page of Envy looks dreadful. Remind me to never, ever see that film.
