Yeah, I think he becomes more like able, but I don't really seeing any of these characters as being redeemed. They're all to gray. Just semantics though. What he does doesn't make up for what he did. Like I said above, he leaves Cersei hanging instead of trying to help her at one point.

I would disagree with that. In my opinion, Cersei is equal parts sympathetic and unsympathetic throughout the whole story. I think Jaime waivers too. He ends AFFC leaving the mother of his children, his sister, and his lover in the hands of people wanting to do her harm. Not much of a redemption.

I guess the difference is after re-reading the passage, I don't see it as a huge departure from his character. To me, he doesn't have a redemption arc.

I think if you read the passage again you'd see it's possible within his character. I'd say it's more unlikely he'd have sex, consensual or not, with anyone other than Cersei. That would be a bigger shock.

Yes, totally agree with this.

I was going to reply to this, but it looks like everyone else has done an adequate job.

I've seen that complaint about undoing his character development, but I don't buy that. One of things most people like about this story is that it's unpredictable and doesn't follow normal conventions. Most of the characters are gray. In that episode alone there were three fan favorite characters (Jamie, Hound,

I'm still kind of baffled by this. Of all the twisted things that have happened on this show (or in the same episode) I still don't see why the internet is melting down following this episode. I've been reading some comment threads and talking to fellow fans and all I can think of is that the circumstances are really

We can, but I'm surprised anyone remembers what a bunch of sports bloggers said about this in the summer of 2012.

Sorry Mr. Hoffner.

In 2016, at President Ted Cruz's acceptance speech, he'll reflect fondly on the time he saw two pregnant women get a dollar, and cite it as the inspiration for his new American welfare system.

Harris's "mistaken identity" defense was quickly rebuked when the victim's hospital records indicated brain damage, not a burning sensation behind the breastbone.

Ah, ok. Makes sense. Thanks.

I don't know anything about any of this, but skimmed the comments and was curious who "Cyborg" was. I came across an article where she claimed if she dropped down to 135 she would die.

Tell me what other arena you can go to with absolutely no interest in "D" and come home a millionaire?

Ok, fair question considering he can't even differentiate "yes" from "no."
