Eh, I always considered the whole “now you won’t know the class” thing nonsense. If someone can’t be bothered learning their class, a few hundred easy quests won’t make a real difference. I’ve had level 41 tanks that were so clueless, the only reason we made it through the dungeon was the sheer carrying capability…

Definitely don’t need to grind AP since the game’s not that hard, though getting everything in the ascension trees takes ludicrous amounts of AP.

Not sure why 80 hours would feel short for an FF game, all of them are far shorter than that (including XV, yes).

Yeah, it’s nice and all that they said the games will still all play on an original PS4 (though who knows how long that’ll last, promises are made to be broken in the land of capitalism, I could see PS4 Pro exclusives in 2018/2019), but with some games you’ll just feel like you got the shaft with an inferior version…

Eh, it’s always like this when a new FF game launches. The individual entries of the series are incredibly different which makes the reactions to a new game insanely polarizing. I’ve seen many people rip this game to shreds, I’ve seen many people praise this as one of (if not the) best FF games.

Switching which character you control doesn’t change the fact the game is controlling the rest of your party. :p

Yeah, FMA had a pretty happy ending if we’re talking about the manga/Brotherhood anime. The original anime wasn’t as happy but still really doesn’t belong in a list with things like Grave of the Fireflies and School Days.

Kind of surprised this did well enough to get a sequel, honestly.

If you liked the Uncharted games, Uncharted 4's a good bet. infamous Second Son’s also good, and at this point probably pretty cheap to pick up. Bloodborne’s great as well unless you disliked Demon/Dark Souls

Fair enough. In my case, there have been some series where I didn’t like the first installment but actually really liked one of the sequels, Assassin’s Creed for example.

Fans of the original would probably get this game regardless. I prefer reviews from people who don’t necessarily like the predecessors over those who are fans of it, gives a different viewpoint.

To good players with a hitscan character, Pharah’s actually easier to kill in the air because she has zero cover up there. Flying’s a double-edged sword at high levels.
