I thought for sure the parent pushing his young kid up the isle was going to hold him up like Simba. Huge missed opportunity.

$700 isn't bad for this resolution, but I'm not sure I could go back to a TN panel after using IPS.

Now playing

I'm only interested if it will include Vanilla Ice performing an impromptu rap.

Does this indicated a 3rd revision of the monitor is on its way?

Andrew, you have broken the first rule of Gizmodo:

Hopefully he did that BEFORE this video was taken.

Lately, I've been playing Titanfall on PC, my first FPS on PC since the early days of Counter Strike. I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised with the community (as compared to PS3). I've played about 10 hours and everyone has been legitimately nice. Not once have I seen someone screaming or typing racist

I did a variation of this with an auto-titan yesterday. I rodeoed a lone titan, only to realize it had no pilot (it kneels down and just sits there). No one was around so I waited about 30 seconds, not shooting it or anything, until my own titan was ready, then called it right below me and OGRE TITAN SMASH.

This is what I was looking for when I saw this photo:

If it was really that cold when someone tried this, it'd be a good way to get frostbite. Doesn't take long at -25 and touching cold metal/glass/whatever with bare hands will significantly speed up the process.

You forgot to mention the third piece of art revealed, Ultimate Hatsume:

I'll take it one step further and say a DVI >> HDMI cable wins for me as my desktop is in the same room as my TV :D

Hehe, again, makes sense in theory, but no way this will work in practice. I'm guessing you haven't been on a climbing expedition so you may not have an idea of just how gear intensive a trip like this is. We are literally talking several tons of gear for a team including 2 months of food for the team and staff.

The problem with this idea is that Nepal doesn't control the entire mountain. People who didn't get permits on the south side (or didn't want to bid exorbitant amounts), would climb from the north, increasing congestion on what is arguably the more dangerous of the two common routes.

I agree with what you said. People who can't carry their own stuff up and down shouldn't be on the mountain. However, I'd guess (hope) most things left behind were done so in an emergency situation. I think the problem you run into is people put themselves in emergency situations too often on that mountain.

A good idea in theory, but how would authorities know if something was left behind? And how would they know if trash brought out was generated by the team carrying it or by another team?

Streaming = watching something while downloading it

I haven't read up on the details of this policy, but I'd imagine the trash can come from anywhere including base camp. With base camp turning into a small city during the Spring, I can't imagine it's hard to find some extra trash. If you had to bring it down from even Camp 1 through the icefall, it could potentially

I do agree with you on this:

Ah, actually the permit change is a price increase. No one paid for a $25k individual permit fee, they would simply join another permit and pay the $10k (7 for $70k).
