Nakedness isn't the problem.
Nakedness isn't the problem.
I think you're reading some of these wrong, even DottheDew replied to you with a very level headed explanation.
Speaking for myself, the only thing I objected to was not in your interview. It was people throwing around the word "hero" to describe a political consultant who submitted an application for a project that has little to no chance of ever getting off the ground (pun intended).
Going to Mars is awesome
She says nothing about how she is abandoning her husband when asked the questiuon about the family, she eluded to "not my kids", and "they thoguht it was cool". Well what about the man who you were to stay committed too? The only reason I would stay with my wife if she left, is to take her cash payout, she isnt going…
None of these people are going to Mars. None of them are heroes (unless they did something else heroic). If anything, they are seriously delusional.
I think it will be awesome if it happens but heroes? I fucking hate that word and people's ridiculous overuse of it. Let's reevaluate after (and if) they actually go and have been there for years and the mission has contributed as much as they think it will.
Those same Internet commenters allow Gawker sites to exist, and for you to presumably receive some sort of compensation for the blogging you do here. So in some way, they are a bit heroic.
What if I told you that the best minds in space exploration (with government backing) have gotten as far as driving a glorified R/C car around the surface of Mars? What if I told you that a non-profit group cooked up a plan to fund a one way mission to Mars with a reality TV show, an indiegogo (that failed), and…
I'm not sure offended is the word. The Mars One project is pretty laughable- it's also a for-profit/reality TV endeavor, which people have problems with. It's just not realistic to think that it will happen in the next 3-10 years, which is the timeline of the project. The life-support technology that this project…
No one is offended by the concept but, speaking for myself, I'm offended that anyone is taking this 'plan' seriously. Mars One is an attempt to get a reality TV show deal - they do not have the money, resources, money, know-how, money, willingness, or money to launch anyone towards Mars.
Lol. None of these people are going to Mars. None of them are heroes (unless they did something else heroic). If anything, they are seriously delusional.
Kickstarter itself isn't a scam. I've backed many successful projects. But it can be used for nefarous purposes, and there is risk associated with backing a project. But to call Kickstarter a scam is just wrong.
Couldn't remember a whole lot about Monica though
What can I say? I like my burgers to taste like meat and cheese, not shitty Italian food.
That was an awesome email of the week. What a sweet, weird kid. The fact that he handled the rejection well is just fantastic. I sincerely hope he isn't some pissed off lonely neckbeard now. He deserves better.
So proud that we have someone who is both a doctor and a judge on staff.
I saw two lesbians basically do that the other day on XHamster.
As far as sentence structure and syntax, "male" or "female" is often easier/faster to use. A sentence that talks about gender-separated bathrooms or health statistics for example:
"50% of the female employees at X firm have LDL cholesterol of Y"
well there it is being used like, in the correct sense, as an adjective.
