I actually did notice it right away, but passively thought 3 things:

I would kill for another Titanfall game. Every so often I’ll fire it up for the single player campaign.  Another great IP, down the drain.

Because the person in question is intentionally vague and has not revealed what company they work for and it doesn’t seem particularly newsworthy to have somebody investigate that? Seems pretty straightforward.

The WiiU pro controller was great too. It's a massive shame the Switch doesn't support it.

When I was in art school some of my teachers and most of my classmates used to tell me that I wasn’t making real art because I used Photoshop in some of my printmaking projects. This is just what happens when new technological breakthroughs occur. 

In his statement he claims that these are limited edition cards featuring amazing art of his life and career. Then proceeds to have “art” of him as some quasi superman, a freakin astronaut, Rambo style paramilitary cowboy(?), etc.
AND releases them as NFT right when financial outlets report that the NFT market has lost
