COUNTERPOINT: If I ever find myself in that position, they’ll have to drag my ass off stage.

I put it in quotations because I know it is loaded terminology. A lot of people don’t consider art as a “real” job, because a lot of people don’t think about the things you mentioned.

Too many people don’t understand a lot of things, unfortunately.

Forgot to mention they own the art. So they can make all their money spent on paying them and profits from any other media they see fit (digital/physical merchandise.) Now said artist can’t use that image to make their income when their illustrations are their only form of income. They can edit and repurpose the

$3k for an illustration isn’t really lowballing, depending on a few factors:

Okay - Lylla Otter:

Also own both, and it really comes down to exclusives and multi-plat for me. The Switch has exclusives I can’t play anywhere else (such as the aforementioned Bayo 3, and the only version of DMC 3 that includes full weapon- and style-switching), and that’s about it. The Deck has multi-platform games that can be made por

Not sure what’s up with that, but the Deck should “sleep” just fine. I tap the top button, it does that little blinky/wave thing and sleeps. I tap it again, it’s right back to where it was in seconds (lit. 3 seconds, I just tried it).

The battery does drain in sleep mode, albeit more slowly than usual. And battery

If by “backwards compatibility” you mean “buy this game again,” then you’re probably going to be in luck.

Well, it shows how American he’s become, when you need to impress your right-wing buddies, the first thing you do is openly shit on Black people.

“...he could have avoided by not needlessly shooting his mouth of about something...” Much like his boy Trump, he actually couldn’t have avoided this. It’s in his DNA. He truly believes that he owes the world examples of his brilliance every day.

I don’t use Twitter and don’t have strong opinions about the product, but it’s pretty common for content sites to force registration after a certain consumption point.  Yes, it’s a hassle for the user, but at some point the site gets to say “you are getting value out of this, we need something from you now.” I don’t

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the motivation for Nintendo to chase these things down is because they make those games look as if Nintendo products are officially supported on the Steam Deck.

So it’s like FTL + Evil Genius with old school anime aesthetics? I’m down, sounds like fun.

Nah.. nowhere close enough for a copyright claim. The Space Battleship Yamato was way, way closer to just a regular ship. It’s clearly cribbing from the same design idea “take a regular sea-going vessel hull and sci-fi it up” but it’s not at all a direct copy of anything from Yamato.

If this goes through, then the next best thing to do would be to continue the investigation into his innocence. And use those findings to nail shut the coffin of the careers of those forcing this to go forward.

A guy with a TV show is saying he's at a disadvantage...fucking white tears, always ruining life.

I am 100% fine with Watchmen only having the one season. I was skeptical about how it would turn out and ended up being pleasantly surprised...like, someone actually got how Dr. Manhattan works and wrote everything around it correctly, fuckin awesome! More seasons of it would just be more chance to fuck it up.

Maher has always been a smug asshole who thought he was more enlightened than anyone else.

Don’t forget Lovecraft Country and Watchmen, two awesome black centric genre shows.

You must excuse understand that for, Maher, the beneficiary of generational white male privilege, to see past said privilege, would require a lifetime of un-learning that he, and others like him—are not, and were never the default human setting. In fact, everyone on earth begins life as a female, with two X
