Sora lives forever on Destiny Islands.
What they did goes beyond ‘screwup’.
Playing through Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm campaigns. Probably gonna get a new game on Steam during their lunar sale, but Deserts of Kharak is full price. :<
I might buy it anyway, I’m in terrible need of an RTS..
I took some time to check out the music of the original game, and.. holy cow. So haunting, and deep. Just.. what was it like to play it from back in the day just to hear this and Rising Sun?
We live in a world where two X-Com remakes have come out, a good Tomb Raider reboot has been made, and the Final Fantasy VII remake is in production.
If you want Half Life 3, or a groundbreaking Sonic game, you are out of luck, though.
Yeah, people love to ruin things.
I hope the Ghost missions for SC2 are good..
I don’t blame WoW at all for not being ‘stunning’ visually. I doubt Blizzard itself has claimed it to be graphically groundbreaking in years, although it is impressive how long it has lasted. The game is dwindling, but unless something comes along to destroy it, I believe that WoW will still have a 7-figure subscriber…
Not stunning, but solid for a game that came out before there was youTube, or Blu Ray. Wouldn’t be a stretch to say that some people were likely running WoW on an old bulky CRT monitor.
I remember quitting the game forever cuz this level.
I enjoyed reading this.
Be sad no longer, man from 2011. I come from the future, and a Homeworld prequel is on it’s way.. eventually. There will also be Fallout 4, Company of Heroes 2, a GOOD Tomb Raider reboot (and it’s sequel), a Blizzard FPS, Shenmue 3, a new DOOM level from John Carmack, and Square Enix will have a resurgence of it’s own…
I’ll take this one.
The Ryu dragon is sadder. I heard the GBA version had a different ending screen of Katt / Nina looking heartbroken is you did the bad ending, but I can’t confirm it..
IDDQD?
So long ago! Just feels weird playing DOOM now.
Okay, I don’t want to snipe at this, but I gotta ask.. has WASD been the standard directional input in PC games for the past 15- 20 years..? I remember a few very old 286 games where I had to use the arrow keys to move things up/down/left/right, but.. I don’t know.
You’re damn right you liked the music, this was one of the best game soundtracks in years.
