There seems to be a problem with the title of the article. The video (I love Driver61) is about how to progress during a club race event, which is different than a “track day”.

Spec Boxster runs the 5-speed and it’s the only week part of the car, all the teams keep spares on hand because with the 2.7L they constantly break the transmissions. Really, the 5-speed is the only big issue with the car (assuming no mechanical issues need to be addressed).
Yes, someone can be killed by a punch; however, you have to be very skilled or very (un)lucky to kill someone barefisted (assuming you aren’t purposely trying to beat them to or close to death). A single strike to the head can be fatal with a bat, a fractured skull is one of the most likely outcomes with a baseball…
I was willing to give him a pass until I read that he used a bat. Punching the guy would have been understandable but the only person you get to use a weapon on is the rapist (just claim the attack was consensual).
The last 2 Subarus I bought were worth more a year after I bought them than I paid for them (2010 WRX and 2014 BRZ).
Looks like the Penny Farthing speed record is about 22mph.
Your totally right, I forgot to change the units from Watt-hrs to Amp-hrs (or vice versa). Thanks for the catch.
When the truck is stopped it doesn’t use electricity except for the heating/AC. Electric vehicles don’t “idle” (aside from recirculating the battery coolant, but that’s very minimal).
In 2015 I was in South Dakota visiting family, we stopped at a gas station and were amused to see a Tesla Model S on the other side of the pump. We had driven up from Texas, the trip is about 1000 miles and took us about 14hrs. To our surprise, the Tesla also had Texas plates. He’d actually driven up even farther than…
Power is the rate at which work can be done or energy transferred.
There’s a guy who turned an old Tesla battery into a trailer as a range extender, the battery is encased in metal so it works as the bottom of a trailer (I’m not sure if they used it as a regular trailer or just to increase the range of the EV). Some cleaver engineering had to be used to make sure to include the…
I have a 2014 BRZ and a friend of mine has a 2014 Mustang GT, we’re both instructors at the local tracks and are pretty even in skill, our cars have very similar levels of modifications, and we run the same tire (different sizes though). We share track data and often chase each other around the track.
This depends on what you want out of the car. The hatches are all more practical for daily driving (the 86 rear seats aren’t fit for people); however, if you are going to the track then there is no substitute for RWD. For street driving you won’t notice much of a difference between FWD and RWD. The ND and 86 won’t…
You don’t understand intellectual property.
Did you forget the /s, or is it just implied?
As a teacher, you can be fired if you’ve lost the confidence of the community and for moral turpitude. I would argue that these should be enough reason for her to lose her job (these rules are why you can get fired if you are found to perform in legal pornography or have a legal second/summer job as a stripper).
The median lifetime earnings for an American is about $3 million, a billion dollars is 333x that.
The 370z wasn’t a great enthusiast car from the start, it either needed to lose 500lbs, or gain 75hp. The VQ engine hates to rev out, the chasis wasn’t as nimble as a traditional Japanese sportscar but it didn’t have the power of a pony car. V6 Mustang performance at a GT price. The interior didn’t age well in either…
There aren’t any opposing forces, so conceivably any size magnet would gently pull the craft together. Small magnets wouldn’t keep the craft docked though, you’d probably want to use some tethers or some sort of harpoon like grappling hook setup.
Copper is not ferromagnetic and wouldn’t be attracted to a magnet.
