1. Well, Tweeden has already accepted Franken’s apology.
Amazing, that’s what I get for not reading the source article.
Modern tires are not the same as old school bias ply murder tires, but Nader was still a bit sensationalist.
Franken’s full-assed apology has been posted (it’s been up for hours and in at least 3 articles on other gawker sites), please update your article to acknowledge this development.
Can you have fun tossing it around?
They mentioned that the chemically induced love was a real love (which even “normal” love is a prolonged chemical response to external stimuli). The love they felt was real, just unconventional and temporary (at least the intense puppy love infatuation stage, which usually is anyway).

I remember that too, especially with the poor Sikh guys who were mistakenly targeted even though they are an entirely different religion. As soon as the shook and horror wore off, so too did the compassion and empathy. People pretty much started the hate by the time the weekend rolled around.
I remember that in the days after 9/11 there was a heartwarming outreach from and to Muslim-Americans (at least what I saw in the suburbs of Dallas, where families of the airline employees lived, no less). I distinctly remember being touched by the sense of community that transcended all the hyphenates. Everyone was…
If you are under 70 and attended a public school, then you’re rights were violated in clear defiance of settled case law. The supreme court ruled in the 40's that you don’t have to do the pledge and can’t be punished for not doing it at a public school.
I think the main problem is that they haven’t gone far enough. Obviously they need to spread the front wheels apart a bit more, for added stability, and use bigger tires for even more grip.
If they published pictures of the horrible effects of these weapons with every story about them and gun control “debate”, people might begin to realize the true horrors of these weapons.
