A Cobra is never on standby to scramble and usually won't be equipped with anything to shoot down a jet. It also would never catch a jet since it has a top speed of 175 mph and an A320 is more like 450mph.

First off, I agree that talking on your phone while driving can be dangerous and texting is VERY dangerous so I'm not saying that people should do it.
