As if the Elise weren't enough of one the Venom is a total caricature of a car. I am impressed with the power and yadda, yadda but it is really strange looking.

No big deal. These are typical teething problems. It if were wartime the F-22's would be flying. The Marines will be the first to get the JSF since they need them the most.
I don't listen to Rush. That is (believe it or not) my own opinion. I guarantee that there will be very little interest in the Volt at the Woodward Dream Cruise. That is an event about horsepower, style and noise. The Volt has none of that in significantly relevant quantities.
The Detroit News article has this quote from a GM pr guy "In 30 years, people might not care about retro," Hall said. "They might be more enamored by souped-up Volts."
Very nice, indeed. I wholeheartedly approve of this photo.
I pretty much agree with all of that. Don't zing him for a fiberglass body. I don't think that really matters.
Not bad, not bad. There are a few details that deviate from a normal street rod but overall it's still a nice effort.
I concur.
That is awesome! COTD right out of the gate.
You said it, bro. I completely agree. My only complaint is that they don't run a proper 1/4 in the fuel classes anymore but nothing compares to the raw horsepower and speed of a fuel car.
Yeah, that rocks. So is the guy in the near lane getting passed or is he passing?
Unless it's completely rusty or hit hard enough that repairs would be way too expensive there pretty much isn't anything that should stop a car from being repaired. The biggest problem is people that can't to it themselves so they then can't afford to have it repaired.
Toyota owners messed all that up. When your car is infallible it tends to skew the results of quality surveys.
Now THAT is justice. Nice story and deserving COTD.
That rocks. What an awesome job.
Ahh yeah
