That’s what I’ve been hearing, up the ladder legendaries start to appear with perfect IVs and EVs, most with items that give them priority or boost their attacks. Also movepools that make you split hairs, which is why if I didn’t find a decent team to grow I’d just use Nihilego, Necrozma and Kartana.

Custom, there were some third party faceplates released for it. If you want you can try and watch Rose Colored Gaming custom faceplates, they are kind of awesome.

Comparison to cellphones and tablets is quite stupid. Name a game on those platforms that looks and plays like Zelda, Mario or even Skyrim without any tricks (like Infinity Blade static backgrounds). Even then those games that look top notch eat your battery like crazy.
