Nah I understand, I don’t have as much as problem with spiders as with roaches, or big ants, or those motherfucking stenopelmatus (Jerusalem crickets, don’t google them, or do but they are fugly as hell).

Non hairy spiders are the worse. Not that the hairy ones are better visually but there is some yuck element in the bare ones. Fuck bugs (not ladybugs tho, they are fine, oh and I know arachnids are their own genre but they’ll be bugs forever for me).

Don’t fight it, gameplay wise V is the best FF out of the 8 and 16 bit era. And the plot is not half bad though nowhere near VI or IV.
