I was under the impression that YOU, the player, are Venom Snake. It’s the reason they asked for your name, your birthday, and to create an avatar how you wanted. So the ending was a meta way of saying you were playing as Big Boss the whole time. You can’t be the real Big Boss, but you can be Big Boss through the

Thank you Capcom. Despite all the hate you sometimes get, you’re a lot better than Konami right now.

Joking aside, seriously, thank you Capcom for this awesome news.

SPOILERS!

I have a friend who had the same feelings as you. I don’t think the game wants to obviously signpost everything. I think the second half tries to promote exploration, to see how everything changed. You don’t have to have the whole party, and it’ll require you to explore the entire world again to recruit

Completely understandable. I always felt the first half was fairly generic. So it might be hard to be motivated to finish it. It wasn’t until the mid-way point where I felt the game elevates itself.

I’m curious to hear your verdict after you finish the game. I feel like a lot of the praise for the game really comes from the second half of the game. The first half was good, but it’s the second half that really elevates this game into some mythical legendary status.

That’s understandable. For me, both MGS5 and GTA5 is mostly single player focused, and multiplayer is just extra bonus content. Perhaps for games like these, reviewers should separate the single and multi-player aspect with two separate grades.

Konami let a few reviewers play the game for a few days, and lifted review embargoes after 5pm yesterday. They just didn’t turn on the Online features during the review. Various games that focused on single-player have done the same in the past. In terms of the reviews, I don’t think it’s fishy if it’s just for the

We can agree to disagree then. Most of the stories to me during the marriage were terribly written. Majority of the best Spider-Man stories were all written before the marriage, and we never had a great writer step it up to that level when they were married.

In Kraven’s Last Hunt, the marriage worked well with the story. Though it could have been written even without the marriage, as Peter Parker has shown a huge resolve because of those he cared about [such as Amazing Spider-Man #33].

But during a majority of their marriage, I really didn’t think the writers knew what to

This is absolutely correct. Joe Quesada believes aging Spider-Man would no longer make him relevant, and unmarrying him would help keep him going for decades longer. I got into reading Spider-Man when I was in 3rd grade in the early 90s, when he was already married. And I had no problem rooting for him. Again to

Marvel’s top brass felt otherwise because Spider-Man wouldn’t be relatable to the youth. Making him a family man makes him appear older that might turn off younger readers. But that should NOT be an excuse any more, now that Miles Morales is in the main universe. Want a young relatable Spider-Man? Read Miles Morales’

I’m so excited for this game! So glad they’re giving so many options for different preferences. Prefer a console level 3D environment? Pick up the PS4 version. Prefer the 3D environment on handheld like Dragon Quest IX, or 16-bit style Dragon Quest? Pick up the 3DS version.

I don’t think they’re concerned about the West as much as Japan, so to them it’s wasted effort to port it to the PC and XBox One. Though they did announce at the end of the press conference that both Dragon Quest X and XI will also come out for the Nintendo NX.

The screening of the trailer was during the Legendary Studios panel in Hall H on Saturday during Comic-Con. This pretentious hipster was likely in Hall H for other panels such as the CGI-filled Batman v. Superman panel during WB’s presentation, or the CGI-filled Fantastic Four panel during the Fox presentation.

Actually, these prices are not terrible. They’re fairly decent compared to how much it’s going for on other stores.

I see what you mean. Point taken. Though, I don’t know how anyone ordering the Pip-Boy Edition might miss how the edition also comes with the game. Perhaps I’m assuming everyone is smart enough to realise this.

As I said, that’s not necessarily true. I’ve had too many pre-orders cancelled by both Amazon and Best Buy last year to trust pre-orders for limited editions. If both do end up shipping though, I would end up selling it to my cost [the same price I paid for one of the pre-order] to one of my many friends who missed

As Patricia said, no it’s $119, because the only way to get it is to buy the bundle with the Pip-Boy and the game.

Same here. After the debacle with the Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL Edition, and Amiibos during the holiday season, I do not trust pre-orders. Worst case scenario I’ll sell it to friends for my cost.

If I recall, in the Kickstarter, they will have movie shorts to recap the events of the first two games. Similar to how Shenmue 2 on the XBox had a movie that recaps the first game.
