That’s exactly right. Racing is stupid expensive and it depends on large amounts of private funding. There aren’t many true young driver programs in existence like the old tobacco funded ones.

$100k is actually quite good. And it’s competitive with Anderson’s Road To Indy USF2000 Series. Which is so overpriced at around $250k to race a tube frame chassis designed over a decade ago.
