That's true. Apparently he raced with Skip Barber at the time. The funny part of the story is when the FBI thought they could make Skip Barber give back the money!

Yeah, this is half of Georgia in a nutshell. Monster Jam is a lot of fun, but this is what you have to deal with when you go...
During one of my races in SCCA at Road Atlanta, the pace car driver stopped the entire field before turn 10a at the end of the backstretch so everyone could join up behind it. However, 10a is in a valley and the entrance is blind. The result of formula cars close to 100 to catch the safety car catchi NH a stopped…
I would agree with you, but unfortunately this does not add any more cars to race tracks. This subtracts 2 GTD entries and TUSC after Daytona and that's it.
Rallycross came to mind immediately for that thing! It looks mean. Well, for a Mitsu Mirage that is...
I promised myself I would never work a 24 for this very reason (unless it was Le Mans or I am driving that is).
Supposedly Patrick Dempsey has purchased the rights to it.
I am with you on this, but with guarded optimism.
If they approach the entire program properly (unlike the GT1 cars prior) then they should absolutely pursue it. But if it's a program mainly pushed by JLOC and Rieter, forget it.
Don't you beat your son out of love? That's all Conor is doing, showing love to his STI.
Holy Crippling Debt Batman! That is quite a bit of debt. Too bad someone could not rescue Marussia at the very least so they did not have to end under such a black cloud.
I believe that is correct. I think it is paid out at the beginning of the next season. Which really is the end of this one.
I wasn't looking for anything that serious. I've got a career in motorsport to pursue, but I enjoy being able to discuss motorsport with people and at the same time put up only interesting, thought out posts from time to time.
Fair enough. I wrote a short piece about Alexander Rossi today over on OppositeLock. It was buried fairly quickly, but head over to my personal blog for a good look.
I believe they are still eligible. I remember when Arrows had to "attempt" to qualify in tbe French Grand Prix to maintain their ability to be purchased.
I'm glad they promoted Carlos Sainz ahem Jr. to the Toro Rosso team. When they didn't last year and went with Kvyat, it seemed odd. But, Sainz is ready and I think will do very well against Verstappen. After watching a few of Max's races from this year, I hope they have not pulled the trigger too early for the phenom.
I don't know though. it seems as though Marussia ran out of operating capital and instead of staving off the inevitable and shorting their workers' pay, they stopped what they were doing and closed up shop.
Pretty accurate to be honest.
In all of the proceedings swirling around Caterham, I have but one question: Why the hell would anyone pay money (more than $1.60 anyway) for Caterham when Marussia is in administration with a payout for the 2 points they earned in Monaco hanging in the balance?
