Racetrack ruin porn is definitely more heart-wrenching. Usually because it wasn't caused by systemic failures over decades. Instead, the fate of racetracks are dictated by the whims of the small group of owners who have to figure out how to break even owning a strip of asphalt.

Meeting Mario Andretti was definitely a highlight of my motorsports experiences. When you're talking with him, he makes you feel that you are the only one around and he has all the time in the world for you. The only driver since that I've met that made you feel that way was Dan Wheldon. I got Mario to sign a picture

Bummer. I'll look for it over at a racing torrent site. It's surprising what you can find.

I just don't see the rear pillar growing to the size at the bottom. It has a universal size all the way down the rear window glass.

Not an MDX after looking at the rear pillar (C?)

I'm seeing an Acura MDX. It has a thicker C pillar than the X5 and it looks a little low to be an X5. It just doesn't look like a BMW to me.

But, to hit him once, hit him a second time and stay in the gas to make sure he spins when he

I think you're underestimating the GTI buyers. You don't have to be a "boy racer" to buy a GTI. Just like neumann said, a GTI is the best of both world's of a sporty hatch. Good fuel economy while not feeling like your driving a shopping cart.

Yup. She managed to qualify faster than anyone else. The fact that it was a two Chevys on the front row and it is Danica, just makes me feel like both Chevy and NASCAR really needed big headlines and good news before the Daytona 500.

My guess is that it was dumped after it was violated. The engine and gearbox come out in a matter of minutes if you are using a car lift by yourself. On the ground however, it is a little more difficult.

This thing is awesome. Makes me wish I had gone through with my plans to drop a small block 350 in my E30, side pipe it, and paint it olive drab green w/ shark teeth on each side of the nose. The Bomber.
