Thats really the only reason I havent picked up the WII U yet. If they offered the GC compatibility, I would have something to play whilst I waited for games to come out. hahaha same, I really am interested to know what happens! From what I understand, the 2nd helps the first one get explained more fully, if I understand correctly, and the first one was amazing. Seeing how long translation is taking, I wont expect to see it for another year, but one can dream right?

who doesnt like a good story? :) and as long as I can care about characters, its all that matters to me. Out of curio, whats the replay value in these series? Is it just beat it once and youre done or are there different endings or whatever?

I can understand that and to be honest, that is a fair complaint. A few of my favorite RPG developers have done similar things and its hard to move past their shortcomings after they have accomplished so much. At the end of the day, I am hoping they can remain immune to this sort of 'rockstar status' and give the fans…
