My default answer for favourite show has always been a toss up between X-files and Farscape but these days I think Person of Interest has taken out that spot. I just love it so freaking much and that clip for the next ep is awesome, I've been hoping Claire would come back.

I hovered over The Retreat but didn't end up grabbing it...yet anyway. I didn't realise it was a multi-author series though, this intrigues me.

I'm just finishing up the As the World Dies trilogy (zombie apocalypse) whose author I can't remember off the top of my head but after that the Infection series is next on my list to read, I'll probably work my way through most of his work though it all sounds great, however I do hope it's not all quite as dark as

Honestly I'd call it soul crushing, I enjoyed so very much but yeah it puts you through the wringer. Maybe save this one for another day.

A recent one for me was Suffer the Children by Craig DiLouie (which I think was recommended in a thread here by someone), the horror of it was just so great, I just wouldn't have been able to put it from my mind if I'd left it unfinished. I was a zombie the next day, I'd only managed about 2 hours sleep after

There was barely any actual new footage in the AoS teaser but god damn if it wasn't enough to get me hyped up, I want it back so freaking bad, it's one of my favourite shows on telly atm. Gives it to me now, march is too far away.

As a whole I quite like this series, the first 4 books are mostly great but damn if 5 and 6 weren't 3 times longer than they should have been. Book 6 in particular seems to add nothing, I kept waiting for something to actually happen but nothing really did. For a book that I waited nearly 10 years for it was such a

I am pleasantly surprised with how good 12 monkeys is turning out to be, I was sure it was going to suck, I mean how could it not it's syfy destroying one of my favourite movies or at least that's the nonsense I was spouting off before the pilot aired. I watched the first episode just so I could be all 'look, see I

Before I went to bed last night I thought I'd read the first 50 odd pages to see what the book was like...4 am and a finished book only left me with about 2 hours sleep /dead

No, more for just a reason why I haven't got around to watching them.

So I've never watched the Mad Max movies, they're older than I am, but this new one looks like the kind of movie I love so the question is, am I gonna have to watch the originals or is this movie meant to stand alone?

I just finished Mira Grants Symbiont which is the second book in her Parasitology trilogy and it was great, it doesn't quite match up to her Newflash series but I still read it over the course of about 2 days, couldn't really put it down unless I had to basically.

I gave up on physical books about a year ago, not because I don't love them, I do and I will still go out of my way to find copies of my favourite books in physical form but for the last year it's been all about my Kobo. I love that I can carry a 1000 books around in my bag but the main selling point for me was

This sounds fantastic, just went and bought the ebook.

I'm sad about Sleepy Hollow, as soon as they rescued Katrina I got bored, she's boring and there's no chemistry so it's just awkward to watch. I keep waiting to read something that makes me go I have to catch up on Sleepy Hollow but well it's still sitting there unwatched.

I think a couple of episodes of this show have been played out of order, episode 6 for example feels like it should have been 4th and 8 does seem like it should have been an earlier ep, it certainly felt out of place coming after 7 character development wise. If I had to take a stab I'd say the order should have

I used to be this way. Before I hit 30 I can't remember the last book I'd given up on but as I make my way towards 40 I find myself more inclined to put down a book that doesn't have me riveted and start something else. Younger me would probably be horrified but there's too many books and too little time.

Well that was absolutely delightful, too tired (it's 4:45am, couldn't put the damn thing down) to give a more in depth review but damn if that wasn't one of the best Buffy fics I've ever read. I dare say it's made it's way into my permanent rotation of fics that get re-read.

Ok the whole thing with the bear has me laughing my bloody arse off, Love it.

I'm up to chapter 45, I had to stop the other day and haven't got back into again yet, I'm gonna get the caliber addon that will let me add fanfic to my Kobo that way I wont have to be tied to my computer to finish it, and finish it I will!
