I knew someone whose daughter worked in Hollywood and she said the same thing. She did mention that Michelle Pfeiffer was the real deal.

I thought it was a pretty good episode but there were a few things that bugged me:

The Bronx does have some of the best Italian food in the City. Anyone familiar with Arthur Ave? Now that Little Italy in Manhattan has become so commercialized and Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn has been invaded by yuppies, Arthur Ave is pretty much NYC’s de facto “Little Italy”.

Early reviews are apparently very positive.

What afraidofthishumanbody said. That was “Sixteen Candles”.

I’m not big on blond guys (and I am happily married to my gorgeous husband, who has olive skin and thick, wavy black hair) but James Spader 30+ years ago? So cute. His character in “Pretty in Pink” was such a jerk, and yet...

Mental roadblocks can be harder to get over for athletes than physical injuries. Something seems to have messed with Djokovic’s head, and it could be some time before he conquers whatever that is.

Me too. It was one of those movies that would pop up often on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon on networks like TNT and TBS, and I would always watch.

Started during ToE. They apparently couldn’t stand each other, and when MacLaine won the Oscar for Best Actress that year (for which she was competing with Debra Winger), apparently MacLaine shouted, “I deserve this!”. Winger was, apparently, quite unhappy about it.

I caught only a portion of last night’s match and, granted, by the time I tuned in the Rangers were up 4-1 and the Senators had clearly had enough, but it seemed to me that the Rangers are faster, more physical and generally the better team. They can absolutely take the series despite Ottawa having home field

Do it. The book is lovely (and so is “Little Men”). A bit sentimental and definitely old-fashioned, but wonderful all the same.

Yes. I never forgave her, and it wasn’t even my manuscript!

Neither Philip nor Harry has any chance of becoming king. As to Philip, because he is not a blood relative and is only the Queen’s consort. As to Harry, because he’s been bumped down the line of succession too far for it to be a realistic possibility at this point.

Sheepish? Doubtful.

Well, it could be both -i.e., the Russians have something on Comey and blackmailed him into derailing Hillary Clinton. I’m not saying this did happen, only that the two concepts are not mutually exclusive.

People who bring huge entourages should heed the old saying about too many cooks in the kitchen. I went with my mom and my sister only, and steered clear of Kleinfeld. We went to two boutiques in Manhattan in one day and settled on a gown at the second (everyone was on the same page as soon as I tried it on),

Yes, but most people do not. Guess who makes up the majority of the bell curve? Catering to the lowest common denominator ensures the largest number of eyeballs.

You should - it’s a very funny show. I don’t get to watch it nearly as often as I would like.

I don’t think I could ever be a wedding vendor. The service industry is tough no matter how you slice it, but there’s something about dealing with whiny “but it’s my special princess day” brides that especially makes me want to puke. I know not everyone is like that, but I am sure that all wedding planners and the

I hear you. It’s gotten excessive.
