This country is and always has been all about making money. When studios discovered they could continue to get eyeballs on a show without paying their reality “stars” as much as serious actors, they predictably went to town on reality programming. All that said, when I want mindless entertainment (which is not often),

Not going to lie, I teared up at a few of these photos. One can agree or disagree with President Obama’s policies, but what is undeniable is that he is a fundamentally good person, and that shines through in these photos.

I recently watched a documentary about Weiner’s recent bid to be elected mayor of NYC (and in which Abedin appeared), and I seriously struggled to understand what she ever saw in him.

She definitely had the “it” factor, and it’s sad that her apparent drinking problem and resulting volatility on set tanked her career.

Replying to add that I know replicants have a shortened lifespan, but I will be interested to see if they addres Deckard’s relationship with Rachael, given that it doesn’t appear that Sean Young is reprising her role.

Yesss, I loved the first one. I wonder if they’ll explain what happened to Sean Young’s character...

Everybody’s talking all this stuff about her. Why can’t they just let her live?

Is it me or do most of the female contestants look the same? As in, they have different hair colors and eye colors, etc., but they mostly have the same “look” - i.e., white, pretty but generally not stunning, hair ending in spiral curls away from the face, etc. It’s hard to remember any of them, except for the ones

Right, he says this like the English have done anything of note in a World Cup or Euro Cup in the last several decades.

“The English, you see, have a little different perspective on all this. They recognize that it’s no great shame for a manager to lose to Mexico and Costa Rica with a team full of Americans.”

I’m sure when the ancient Greeks came up with the concept of the harpy, they probably modeled it on their version of the Real Housewives...of Athens (or maybe Sparta, since Spartan women had more freedom of movement, etc.).

Her point is that her mom’s friend did not realize he had HIV until it turned to full-blown AIDS, and that the medications to treat AIDS are very different from those used to treat HIV (and no walk in the park).

Please don’t worry too much! I’m 34 and met my husband when I was 29 (his previous girlfriend was 23 or 24, and he, as an extremely attractive and fit 39 year old investment banker living it up in NYC, had zero in common with her other than the obvious). Two years later, I was married at 31. We’ve been together ever

Preach.

Not just talking about her. And the fact that she said it so nonchalantly speaks volumes. And yes, I totally understand that marrying your first cousin is only slightly worse from a genetic perspective (unless subsequent generations keep doing it), but (and my reaction may be because I grew up very close with my

Anyone want to take bets on the number of hemophiliacs in this family?

She was attempting to clear the ball, which is what she absolutely should have done. It was a freak shot that 99 times out of 100 would never have gone in.

She did the right thing - it was just her execution that cost her.

I actually lucked out in this regard - my husband is South American and we plan on going back down there at some point in the future. Our children will have two last names, as is the custom - his name, followed by mine.

Yes, from what I know of France, they have a great system of reasonably priced, state-run healthcare. Not having to pay a ridiculous sum per year for a nanny makes it much easier for women to stay in the workforce. We are woefully behind in this country when it comes to maternity/paternity leave, healthcare, and
