Depends on whether you want swim or not, but if you head south, I echo the other commenters who recommended Charleston - it's a beautiful city. As to a beach vacation (but not necessarily being able to swim), places like the Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach, and Hilton Head. If you want to be able to swim, head to Florida.
I'm with bitchyolympian1. Just say something like "Ok, whatever you say". I don't see how she could possibly have a good response to that, but it will sure make her think you're dismissing her (which you are).
I would play it casual. Say you look forward to seeing him when he gets back, but don't push to label your relationship with a status. Hopefully he will say something like, "let's keep in touch while I'm gone and I will see you when I get back." No matter what, while he's gone, you can e-mail him every few days just…
I would give him the benefit of the doubt this time and text back something like, sure, how is this week looking for you? Let's touch base Tuesday or Wednesday...
Calling all Bay Area Jezzies! I live in NYC but am getting married this spring in Napa (think late April/early May), with the honeymoon to follow in Sonoma and San Francisco. While I have the wedding weekend planned out, I could use some suggestions for sights/restaurants/bars in Sonoma and San Francisco. Our…
I think you have to break it off, or he will continue to make you miserable. The fact that he continues to go through your messages, etc. is appalling, frankly. And why on earth do you continue to let him do it? Change your passwords already!
You're not crazy. It's annoying when you're looking forward to eating something that you bought and then you open the fridge to find that your significant other has gotten to it first. I've definitely been there. On the other hand, these are obviously first world problems, so I try to keep some perspective and not let…
He stands to gain more money if the marriage is annulled. If they get a plain old divorce, the pre-nup Kim had him sign kicks in. If the marriage is annulled, however, no pre-nup, so all the money she made while she was with him is fair game.
No, not too much. In fact, I'd question why she is allowing him to touch her like that when she's now in a relationship with you - I'm currently engaged and if one of my exes got touchy-feely with me, I'd put the kibosh on that behavior immediately. Additionally, it's not like she has to go into a ton of detail about…
I know it sucks and it may be scant consolation right now, but just know that you really dodged a bullet here.
Cape Ann in Massachusetts - just gorgeous and also relatively inexpensive compared to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket (although those destinations are also beautiful). Rockport in particular is adorable. Newport is also breathtaking, but you will pay a pretty penny to stay there in high season. Further north, I'd…
I understand you want your grandparents to be at your wedding, but that should not be a reason to put pressure on yourself to get married. My father was sick for a while, and I would have loved for nothing more than to find the right guy and get hitched before he passed away, but it just didn't work out that way…
If I was his wife, I'd have ripped him a new one for that piece of douche-baggery. But then, I'd never be with a guy like that in the first place, so. What an asshole.
I'm not of their generation (I came on the scene at the very tail end of Gen X and just before the millenials), but I actually watched the first few episodes the other day and found them entertaining. I have plans to watch the rest of the first season this weekend.
The Taylor Swift thing may or may not be true, but girl could stand to keep a lower profile and refrain from writing music about her exes immediately post break-up.
I don't know, I never really planned much before I got engaged, but I don't think it's horrible for a single woman to occasionally flip through a bridal magazine or file away a picture or a recipe or what-have-you because she'd like to apply it to her own future wedding. There's a difference between that and a…
It definitely is the reason why the pass rate is so low - lots of people taking the exam who really have no business taking it. If you're at a good ABA-accredited school and you are enrolled in BarBri, then you are in good shape. I definitely missed an assignment or two while in BarBri - don't sweat it. As long as you…
1. I ordered my wedding invitations today, and they are so elegant and beautiful. I walked into the invitation store, the clerk gave me a book from a certain brand that she highly recommended, and it literally took me less than a half hour to pick out the one that I liked. The entire process (i.e., going through the…
I think that, as a law student and someone who will ostensibly working as an attorney (and possibly within the justice system), you need to rethink your stance on the matter. I'm a lawyer (not a criminal defense lawyer, but still), and although I am pretty sure Anthony killed that child, whether intentionally or…
