Yes — everyone does. Pre- and post-Iron Man.

Oh that 70s typeface!

He did not spill his Diet Coke. It was just resting for a few moments.

I just finished reading Nate Jackson's "Slow Getting Up" — which is his account of roughly 6 years in the NFL (much of which was spent on the IR). He made a great point about halfway through in explaining one of his numerous rehabs. Essentially, your body has its own way of healing. Unfortunately (for NFL coaches

Aventa-DOH! Amirite?

Silly. Don't you know NFL games can't end in ties? Donovan said so.

"here in after" | "both teams futures" | "Both of sound mind created a mutual agreed upon contract" | "shocks the conscious"

Agreed, but "chutney" is not standard enough to know precisely what he is referring to. Are we talking about an Asian tamarind chutney (yummm!)? Or perhaps the dreaded Thanksgiving cranberry chutney (booooo!)? If we are just saying chutney "on average" then I think this may be a place or three too high.

Black cherry deserves its own entry and should come in 2nd. You can't reasonably compare Cherry Coke/Pepsi to Wishniak.

House Scarlet Throat — a rebellious lot bent on overthrowing their former brethren to the North. They are known for their love of large four-wheeled carts, raised high above the ground (some say unnecessarily so) and lite mead.

This is all retribution for the introduction of the neutral zone trap.

It does, but don't forget he's riding on the curbs like in an F1 race, so there's going to be lots of feedback to the wheel on turns. Plus, he's going really fast...

Was on a flight to Europe this summer and a guy did a full-on header right next to me in the aisle. The logjam of doctors rushing to his aide was at least 4 deep on either side. The best was all the backseat doctoring going on: "Loosen his shirt!" "Give him some water!" "Lift his feet."

Ruin Tomorrow mistakenly believes he's the GM for the Sixers who have every reason to be terrible because in basketball, the draft can have significant impact on the near term. He also believes Roy Halladay is coming back, that Ryan Howard is 27 and on the rise, and that the NSA is a well-meaning government agency

Chris Branch is good. Although he writes for a smaller South Jersey paper, he seems like he tries (as opposed to some of the drivel-spewers at the Inqy) and is happy to use one or two sentences instead of trying to spout off for seven or eight. He also provides analysis from time to time which is fairly balanced.

God — you just gave me flashbacks. The disturbing lack of casual sex (that I was having) is not fun to remember.

"most American goal ... ever ... probably"

In my imagination, due to the increased competition of today's game, he set aside his summer after his second pro season and dedicated it to improving his FT % and thereby got it up closer to Duncan's 70%....

Forget his inside game, the man could run, pass and shoot free throws! Put against today's players, he'd probably more closely resemble Tim Duncan than anyone else.

Well, if not bored, then refusing to instill some fundamentals into his fight in order to offer the appearance that he was trying. RJJ was clearly the best pound-for-pound for a while, and Ali was Ali, but neither showboated to the degree Silva was. Naseem surely did, but I don't think he was as talented as any of
