Injection molding only 8x faster?

What kind of quantities do you define as industrial scale?

3D printing a part like this doesn’t make sense and will never make sense.

Nothing special indeed. But at least they were real bicycles rather than bicycle shaped objects. Most of the other “branded” bikes you find out there are bicycle shaped objects bought from the cheapest supplier.

I worked at the bike shop contracted to assemble the VW Trek bikes for the local dealer. It was always entertaining when they showed up.

Nice. I didn’t know that’s how they made run-flats work. I assumed it was just stiff sidewalls and stiff tread section to help retain shape in the event of air loss. If properly designed, a center rib section could easily assist in preventing the tire from ballooning at those speeds.

And if you want to get really trick, have a small clutch pack between the two wheels allowing them to turn at different speeds from each other. With such a wide tire, I’m sure the inside edges turning radius is noticeably smaller than the outside edge.

Yeah, wouldn’t be fun. Especially with the cost of the tires and rims. One slip and oops - there goes $10k....

So I clicked reply to ask them to remove my name from that list, and my buddies email address was the reply-to address.

After a couple hundred km’s to get comfortable in it, and realizing it really isn’t nearly as much fun to drive as you expected or originally assumed.

The beluga SUV!!!

You joke that the deer hit you, but I have actually been hit by a deer. He came barreling down an embankment and just plowed into the front drivers corner of the car. He then spun back against the drivers door, slamming into it with some tremendous force. (I figured if I’d hit him, he would have hit the front of the

The seatbelt thing - yes, that seems like a design flaw.

For sure. I let a $200 glass etching fee slide once because I was buying the car from a dealer my buddy worked for, and they were giving me a great price.

In Ontario, its a law that a car dealers price MUST be all-in.

170hp/177lb-ft is the power of the 2.5L.
