I'd like to also point out that mental health issues that lead to suicide, and suicide itself goes vehemently and overwhelmingly ignored and unspoken in society today. It's ridiculous to treat it as taboo when it is so prolific and dangerous. It shouldn't be a taboo, it should be part of our vernacular. It should be

Thank you! I love celeb gossip as much (okay, maybe more) than the average person, but this coverage has really crossed a line. It just seems mean spirited at this point. And not even in an exciting way. Like a list of her twitter insults that you have already chronicled obsessively? Kind of a snooze.

I know it's been said already, but I agree too. Each story being written about her breaks my heart more and more. The same goes for Lindsay Lohan.
These girls clearly have something deeper and darker that they are struggling with, and I don't think the constant attention and ridicule is helping either of them in any

Pushing Daisies. It was a little silly but it grew on me and then they cancelled it.

Ooh, ooh, awesome.

This makes me want to cry. A lot.

My father committed suicide via firearm 18 years ago...I still have trouble watching suicide scenes in movies...This series of photos sickens me...It's bad enough that suicide rate now exceeds automobile fatalities...someone just HAD to glorify one of the worst consequences of mental health issues.

I typically defend the depiction of whatever the fuck the artist wants to depict in the name of evoking certain feelings/reactions in the viewer and sparking a dialogue over something we tend not to question or dissect. But this is so shamelessly commercial in nature, it's just the baseless exploitation of grief and

Everything can go fuck itself right now.

I'm pretty largely against most things in the "Fashion Industry", but this is one of the most tasteless things I've ever seen them pull. I can't even. I'm all out of evens.

Hope you're feeling well now. You're totally right about the eye! This is the most plausible explanation I've heard. I think she was tested for psychiatric problems after her most recent arrest and none were found, so a physical issue would make sense. This is all so strange and sad.

Perez hasn't really backed off of Amanda, though. He still eggs her on and baits her to say horrible shit on a near-daily basis. Maybe not on his site (haven't gone to it in years because I find him to be an attention whore of the worst kind and I like my snark straight up- shouts to Michael K at Dlisted!) but on

You should also point out that Courtney Love (who has a history of drug-induced meltdowns and being vilified for them) seemed pretty sincere about wanting to help Amanda out.

For Reason 1: There is a difference between highlighting the effects of mental illness and the havoc it can wreak on people, and highlighting someone as "that crazy bitch."

Perhaps this is off topic and I'm not trying to snark but I've noticed that her eyes seem..."off" in her pictures. Off as in one is always looking in the wrong direction. I experienced some pretty severe neurological problems last year and my eyes were similarly screwy. I gave myself the nickname "ol wonky eye."

Jez, I want to request an Amanda Bynes blackout. Stop documenting her issues, stop gawking at them.

I don't hate you because you're ugly, you're ugly because I hate you.

At this point she should just name the people who aren't ugly.
