Last weekend I was playing Apples-to-Apples, and I played 'Vin Diesel' when the word was 'pathetic'. I lost the round, but this latest statement from Vin cements the fact that really I should have won. Humph.

Okay, the Vin Diesel onomatopoeia is pretty much the greatest thing in the history of B, D, R, G, U and L.

You can always look at Corgi rescues - even purebreds need homes!

You didn't say 'some' when you were talking about why men killed. And I know Seatosky's weird views on human relationships of old so I may have jumped to conclusions a little.

I don't think that this dude killed to get status. Nor did Bundy. Bundy killed because he was a psychopath. Being a psychopath is a poor evolutionary strategy: you have very few self-preservation instincts and are unlikely to care for your offspring.

Men kill to get status because having status is an evolutionary strategy. It is not remotely surprising that some women are attracted to them.

Women find killers attractive. News at 11.

It drives me CRAZY! I don't know how they managed it, because you can't click on anything to see the commenting history.

Yeah, I'm game to at least try it.

I don't like the idea of a breeder bought puppy either! I keep hoping a corgi mix puppy will pop up in a shelter or on kijiji. I already have an amazing rescue dog (his name is Hobbes) and I don't really like the idea of trying to integrate another adult dog into our household.

Probably because they have to cook the filthy creatures twice to kill all the ick in them. They have been known to carry leprosy.

I don't think it's likely to piss anyone off, it's just likely to make you uncomfortable leaving your kids with someone because of a preconceived bias.

You know, like how gated community parents miss out on having cheaper but equally qualified babysitters because they don't want to get someone "they" use.

Ahhhh! I want a corgi puppy SO BAD. Why do they have to be so expensive?!?! :(

That wasn't Lindy posting.. It's a Burner account with no name. You can see that it's the arrow pointing right at Lindy West (meaning Lindy is on the recieving end of the comment from no-name burner account). This guy is a troll.

We're talking about abuse from strangers, not from parents. It's pretty common knowledge that neglect/abuse is more likely to come from mothers, likely at least in part due to the fact that mothers spend more time with their kids than fathers. And there are a lot more single mothers than single fathers. That

I do not want to eat these bugs. But is there something we could be doing with them? Collecting them to be mulched? Turned into chicken feed? Used to feed farmed fish?

For me, it's a texture thing. The idea of eating bugs does not bother me, but I am absolutely neurotic about soft or squishy things. Don't like pates, or really soft cheeses. Things like that. And as a result, squishy bug bodies, like grubs or fat spiders, are probably going to be hard for me to take. I mean, hell,

Sounds like a tragically imbalanced diet.

Yeah, I don't know if I could hire a male babysitter, even if that's unfair. When I was three, my parents hired a woman to babysit me, and she brought her responsible-seeming 16 year old son with her (hell, my parents probably thought it was great at the time - two babysitters). When I was alone with the guy,

To all the people claiming the author is not generous because her form of aid was a loan and not a gift: it is still generous! You all sound like spoiled ingrates. I have had to borrow money from relatives a couple of times, and I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to them when they do loan the money to me. I always prioritize
