On the surface I think the equation is that they cannot comply, it’s far too expensive, and that instead this is a small tariff on imports that slightly moves the needle while politically it’s pointing out that the Mexicans refused to pay their workers a”fair wage”. I bartended an event recently that had an assortment of bottled beers. Over and over people would come up and say they didn’t care what they got, as long as it wasn’t an IPA.

I love gin, but everything I can’t fucking stand about IPA’s sounds like what everybody who can’t fucking stand gin can’t fucking stand about gin.

IPAs can lick my taint. They are garbage water.

Or you say you don’t want an IPA and the only other option is some kind of Angry Orchard fruity thing. 

And in some places, the only alternative is a “hoppy” version of something else. Excessive hoppiness is why I don’t like most IPAs.

Oh Jesus I’m so tired of IPAs. And double IPAs and TRIPLE IPAs. And grapefruit IPAs and GRAPE MUST IPAs, and mango IPAs, and a hundred other IPA variations. Can a man just get a golden ale, for Christ’s sake? I have to spend 20 minutes in my beer store to find anything that isn’t a goddamn IPA.

I don’t think you are in the minority here - but it is a silent majority. I think most people are indifferent to or dislike IPAs but feel the need to “like” them to fit in with the cool people.  It is kind of like Kombucha only without the health benefits.

Fair claim. That and the female pit reporter (apologies for not catching her name) who appears to have the rotten luck of being given the worst microphone the audio crew had in the truck, managing to capture everything on pit lane but the person she’s trying to interview despite nearly force-feeding them the mic.

I won’t speak for those who’ve cut the cable, but as I sit here watching the race on Velocity I think the coverage has been perfectly fine. Not Earth-shatteringly brilliant, but FAR AND AWAY better than any other international motorsports coverage on American television.
