I seriously wouldn’t have minded so much if the car was a bit more stylish or Mustang-like. I was hoping it would be lower and more like a wagon. Something with similar proportions to an Audi Allroad or RS6 Avant. Even e-tron proportions would be acceptible. But this car is tall and chunky. There’s nothing sleek or

I’m not concerned anymore. I have a 3.55 in my 2018 F-150. I was worried it would hurt the mileage too much. Even with my 5.0, the 10 speed allows it to easily achieve 26mpg at 70mph. I averaged 23mpg from Buffalo, NY to Los Angeles, and that included driving through the Rockies in the snow.

The Cosmo looks fantastic, but the buyer is in California. The chances of getting it registered legally are between slim and none.

Basically that. Cars built to a higher standard will cost more, even if it’s just by a little. Most people will take big power and giant vehicles over saving the environment every day of the week. At least until the price of gas sky-rockets again, and everyone complains that the it cost $120 to fill the 24 gallon gas

Well done, Boku!

NASCAR has changed the plate diameter several times over the years, so that number has often fluctuated. This time around, they’re adding power, but making the car even more of an aerodynamic brick, so the standalone speeds themselves aren’t likely to change all that much. I am curious to see how drafting groups will

I understand the difference between the two systems. I just wish that range on plug-ins would improve. They’ve never been able to do much more than 30 or so miles. It would be nice to have 50-60 mile capacity to improve the ability make a daily commute in EV mode only and saving the gas engine for longer trips on

They can get 370 miles out of the Mustang, but the plug-in hybrid Escape will only have 30 miles of battery-only range? That’s lame.

Glad it’s a stick. I remember several automatics failing when I was in auto shop back in high school.

I’ve done this several times as well over the years. At least it’s less destructive than going from 5th to reverse in your 5-speed.

I take pleasure in the fact that his name translates basically to “Mr. Cheerful.” It most likely explains his sunny disposition.

I had something a little similar happen when I test drove a new F-150. I saw Memorial Day sale with a specific stock number for the truck. I test drove the truck in the evening. I went back the next morning, and they told me it was already sold and gone. It seemed a little fishy given how little time had passed and

I tried to be the “middle guy.” I lasted 6 years and ended up with a pile of debt before I finally sold the car. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone without the funds to go all-in.

I live near Irwindale. I still hope to race there before it becomes a shopping mall, but every year it becomes harder to field a competitive car. There are plenty of companies still doing parts discounts but cash sponsors are drying up. They don’t see enough return on investment. In the past, people could get by at

Agreed. So cars will get slightly more expensive, and American workers don’t really get anything.

Very true. But like the others have said, I don’t think it matters to Trump’s people as long as they can say they did something and ended NAFTA. The stock market improved on the news already, so I already see Trump supporters I know taking a break from talking bad about John McCain to talk about how much we’re

And if any Mexican parts factories comply with the $16/hr rate at all, it would be huge for Mexican workers. I think they make something like $4-8/hr right now. The new agreement could be better than NAFTA for the Mexican people while doing nothing for Americans.

1.) Thank you! I’ve never been a fan of IPAs. I understand I may be in the minority, but I’m not going to drink something I don’t like. But that means that currently there are a lot of bars that offer me very little in the beer department. I’ve been to some bars that offer only one non-IPA option, and it’s empty.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Haha. The part about Rust Belt voters going from Obama to Trump was going to be my original response to you.

I’m pretty sure I could discuss this topic all day. Trying to figure out the positions of modern parties and the various factions within keeps me awake at night. Both parties seem to be all over the place, but the GOP still seems better at uniting to win elections while infighting kills Democrats.
