I have a Focus Electric with an old Alfa Romeo as a back-up. I scoff at your pity. I live life on the edge!

It makes me unreasonably giddy that you used a still shot from the filming of Gung Ho.

Nooo!!!!! Now it's in my brain.

I actually took longer than I thought to Google an image of the original. I had one when I was a kid. It never worked quite how I wanted it too.

When I grow up, I want to charge Teslas.

All the 05-14 scoops were optional. There’s no way I was going to pay for that useless crap on mine. Brake cooling ducts, however, are muy bueno.

I learned hill starts when I was 15 in a ‘53 Pontiac. It had a 3-speed on the column and no handbrake. It did not go well. The clutch lived, but the u-joints snapped and left the driveshaft on the ground.

But my favorite monster truck name. and the most appropriate I think, is Samson.

Lets not forget the winged beast, Monster Patrol!

It’s the ratio of output torque over input. It’s equal to the gear ratio of the particular gear you’re in (R is the gear ratio)

I knew what clip it was without clicking on it. I'm such a nerd....

It’s a slow build, but it’s happening.

Built for speed!

Exactly. Car and fence break apart to dissipate energy in impact. It was hard to see on video, but the large, horizontal cables remained intact even after the rest of the fence gave way.

Without the passing and potential for wheel to wheel contact, I don’t know how it will catch on commercially. I’ve been doing it for 3 years. When people see my car, they just ask if I drag race.

If I’m going to be throwing my money away, I’ll just get this Flintstones car for $40k.
