I understand the gripes about there not being a V8, boosted or otherwise, but I don't see the point of comparing this car to a Corvette or a Hellcat. I'll reserve judgment until I see the power to weight ratio and then how it does on an actual racetrack.

What amuses me the most is the speed at which these collisions happen. When I'm in a parking garage in a tall truck, I crawl at a snail's pace. Many of these truck drivers appear to approach that bridge at full tilt with no thoughts to all those signs and warning lights.

The new engine rules for 2015 are meant to reduce the Cup cars to around 725hp.

My gf works next door to LACMA but of course she's off today. Damn it!

You are correct sir. So if you're in an area where people are willing to pay $30,000 mark-up, that dealership is certainly within its rights to do so. It just has to hope they sell.

I was just making a joke. All my dealings with that company have been a waste of my time. My money isn't going to supporting them.

That's still $10 I didn't have before. haha But with the added fees for sub-$1 stocks, $10 might even be optimistic.

On the plus side, I could buy 1000 shares right now and be out next to nothing. Basically, do I want to take my gf to the movies this weekend, or buy 1000 shares in risky stock?

I understand that turbo cars are inherently quieter. I've been to Indycar races, and the new turbo cars are much quieter than the old NA cars. However, I don't think they sound terrible. It must be possible to make a turbo car sound good still.

I hear often that the turbos sound bad because the fuel limit forces teams to cut revs. If they return to V8s without lifting the fuel limit, aren't they going to be in the same situation? We'll have to listen to rev-restricted V8s, and we'll still complain. If F1 wants to be more fuel efficient, how can we ever get

Will there be any tires left on it when it gets here? There is a track day at Fontana that weekend.... Just sayin'.

I can't wait to see it. I'll have an air freshener ready to go when you get here.

Are those Michelin Pilot Super Sports I briefly see?

Some of the guys I race time attack against built a K20 CRZ. I really want to drive it.

I can't think of any modern Mustang in the first year of a new body style that's completely knocked it out of the park, so I'm not too concerned.

I also thought it was interesting they chose to pit the lightest trim version of the Camaro against a Mustang with tons of extras. I can't say how much that affected things, but I like to see these comparison tests with cars spec'd as closely as possible.

I'm recommending this because I love the word hegemony. Don't see it used nearly enough.

I love going to that event!

I had the exact same reaction. Random giggle.

We all revere the pass, and rightly so. It's funny to think that if that happened in a race today, he'd mostly likely be penalized for exceeding track limits.
