The original idea of the second left lane was to be used during rush hour. That's why the sign on that lane lights up compared to the static sign on the left lane. I guess CalTrans thought it would be unsafe to two exit lanes at normal speeds. But there isn't really any signage explaining when to you can use the lane

Listen, son. I've been doing this way longer than you. ~Mark Webber

"... this isn't fake engine noise, but rather real engine noise that is being amplified for the driving enjoyment of everyone contained within."

The rear-end looks more squared-off and the head lights look like they've received a poor imitation Ford kinetic design treatment. In other words, an Explorer and a Flex hooked up and had a fat baby.

That 54 MPG in Imperial gallons though, right? Not US.

I was so excited when I saw that car on grid yesterday. Made me feel young...ish again.

As many times as I've seen this before, I can't help but watch 10 more times.

All reliability issues aside, I like a Alfa Romeo 184T. 1.5L Turbo V8 good for 680hp.

I'll just speak to my personal experience. All of the Corolla owners I know are people who really couldn't care less about refinement, handling, power, etc. Their cars are so full of junk that they might as be driving a mobile closet. Material qualties are irrelevent because the interior is just going to get filthy

O.G. hipstermobile. Usually in much worse condition though. Photo taken with proper hipster filter.

I also still have a soft spot for the classics.

Nearly impossible to build but so angry looking.

Replicate this comparison in a Best Motoring track battle, and then we'd have something.

So when the ZL1 came out, dealers marked it up to $80K over here. Does that mean the Z/28 will start at $90K?

A bit warm on the way back from Monterey?

I like Ford blue normally.... This is not one of those times.

Thanks for coming out the Petersen Museum yesterday. It was great seeing the cars, and talking to everyone.

Yeah, but those are all V6 rental convertibles. I saw the same thing last time I drove up there. However, if the Mustang you're driving has a properly sorted suspension, it's much more fun... until you catch up to the slow rental Mustangs.

Does anyone know what the original TARF II engine was? It has the 246 engine now, but that didn't exist when the car was built.

Someone should make him aware of the Senna NSX from the post the other day. Even if it isn't legit, he isn't out much.
