Oh god.

I doubt much counseling went on the room. More than likely the cop just wanted “details”.

Dude! No. I’m a person who has lived my whole life in a country with socialized medicine. I go to the doctor whenever I need to. Baby’s sick? Three times a week. Got a weird rash? Call up the office and get in that day. As a kid, I was hospitalized. I’ve given birth twice (once prematurely) and several family members

Because America has much lower taxes, and is much friendlier to the super-wealthy. And if the unthinkable happens, they can always fuck off back to Europe for medical care.

But if you really want to thank me for my service, you can collectively raise holy hell with your elected representatives about how injured veterans are cared for in this country when

I would think they’d be all for this. More babies born into one-man one-woman patriotic families? The voter base practically expands itself with each test tube!

It’s one of those things you get told repeatedly is a gendered thing. How many men get told relentlessly they’re useless in the kitchen?
