“Budget up to 50,000"

How many times have Jalopnik told this story.

I’m just surprised they weren’t the usual suspects, like Good Ride, Primewell, Maxis Mudder Buckshot, or Ling Long. And if you’re riding Ling Long, you have no self-esteem and should be ashamed of yourself.

I find it interesting how Toyota’s wait and see approach to EVs (and continued insistence that we’re headed into some sort of hydrogen future)  is sort of putting them in the dog house on the ‘how green are they’ front, yet their hybrids are actually making a pretty big difference on emissions. If I had to buy a 3-row

And the old dudes that could afford them at the time bought the SC400 instead. The Turbo should have been a Lexus from the get go.

the token reds and blues are getting old, imo.

Frankly, I don’t think they’re behind the curve at all.

Because for a vast majority of the population, THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH. Toyota is banking on people realizing this and since they already know how to make hybrids really well, they are just biding their time rather than spending ungodly amounts of money on the latest hot thing to grab simple minded shareholder’s and

People buying Toyotas are not trendsetters generally. They’re methodically moving into EVs rather than rushing out some crap.

That’s a good catch.  I don’t sign final paperwork until I have confirmed that they dealership has removed all their stickers without damaging the paint.

Mark me down as someone that loves the Targa, it really is the best of both worlds.

It’s a Jeep thing......

I thought 60s muscle cars were expensive at $100k, this is flat out Dutch Tulip Mania. Also the one of 7 with slushbox and Ram Air IV is pure jolts and white New Balance territory. If I was buying a Judge in 69 it would have had 4 on the floor

ND - Dented, ripped and looking like a $40 motel room after a trucker’s party. Rare but almost dead is how I see this sad Audi. It’s a $2,000 car for someone who craves it, at best.

You aren’t wrong, but then again, you are just framing it incorrectly.

Some wide body kits are cool. This is not one of them. I’d be spending my $55k shopping for a Vette  that doesn’t look like somebody’s driveway project. ND.

How will future boomers sell their cars without paint to make their car seem unique and special? “1 of 7 yellow with black interior made on a Friday the 13th” or whatever.

Color. Really any color.

The answer is always British Racing Green, with mandatory saddle brown leather interior.

The old interior is oddly enough better looking to me
