I like it better than the 80, rear end in particular.  Don’t miss the chrome “vents” from the front fender either.

You also can’t get a regular V60 with AWD. I don’t want a “lifted” V60 with ugly plastic cladding just to get AWD.

When you see this car, you understand why Lincoln has been a brand on life support for most of my adult life. The exception being when Navigators had a good run of popularity in the late 90's, but they were still second fiddle to the Escalade. Read more

Based on their budget, I’m assuming this person won’t be parking in a reserved garage spot or driveway. I wouldn’t want to be saddled with finding street parking for a LX470. Come winter, you probably have to do alternate side parking and move it every other day. Get a Crosstrek if you really need to “offroad” or a Read more

Yeah I’m not going to rely on a phone to get into or start my car. My “smart device” apps are not 100% reliable, which is fine when it comes to turning off a Smart Things connect light switch. Not fine when it comes to starting my car.

Yes, I’d buy a car with a MT, but it would need to be a 3rd car I only take out on weekends.

Yeah, I’ll ask why someone would make this. And then why someone would want to buy it seeing you can’t really ride it. But I won’t knock the woodwork.

Yup. When I sold cars, so many people did not care how the math worked....unless it came to their trade and then you had a bunch of “I know what I got” types who demanded top dollar for it.

Does Munro realize that anything positive he has to say will probably make him part of PRC propaganda?

I’d say the Lexus is probably what it will be compared to the most. Besides the promise of Honda/Toyota reliability (although the last model MDX doesn’t seem to rank very well for reliability), it also seems like the German SUVs are also about $10k more expensive when you start adding the options.

Not that anyone will do it, but you can put the backup camera in the rear view mirror. My 2012 Subaru without navigation has it there. The radio still has a small screen, but it is a double-DIN size head unit and I believe an aftermarket unit goes in there pretty easily.
