Growing up in the 80's and with a family that for some reason went to the Mopar lot first, I think I could assemble my childhood cars with about $10k. If any ‘88 Reliant wagons aren’t in the crusher at this point.  There was a ‘87 Buick Skylark in there too, which was barely functional when it was traded in 1992.

I sold cars 20 years ago...people wanted “loaded” then too despite the fact they had no down payment and their owed more than their trade was worth.

Quick search on Cars.com shows Rubicon diesels that already hit $70k.  So not really a premium.

Black wheels were cool for custom cars like 15 years ago, so hopefully it will have run its course with the OEMs pretty soon. I think it looks terrible 90% of the time.

Pleather is at the bottom of the list of seat coverings for me. Whenever I’ve toyed with buying a BMW, I’m clicking options right past Sensatec.

I live near a road.  Some of these Wranglers/trucks are freaking loud coming down the street and it is all tire noise.  I can’t imagine driving around in that thing all day.

No way this guy is selling for $25k.

Anything where you are trying to make your car something it isn’t.

Seeing how depressing the under $20k market is, I feel like this is not a horrible way to spend $9500, even with pricey RR maintenance/overhaul from sitting on the horizon.

Shitty people of course abandon animals all the time. I don’t know how you can be so dead inside to live with an animal for 7 years and then leave it in the parking lot. I worried about foster dogs that lived with me for 3 weeks before being adopted.

Definitely this 2012 Wrangler Sport with aftermarket wheels and tires. A lot of value here. These Jeep guys man...

Woah, what is growing out of the dash there where there used to be a smaller integrated screen?

If the solid state battery breakthrough Toyota has talked about is for real, the current crop of EVs are going to be the cars with plummeting value.

Jesus, had a flashback to when there was some asshole in my neighborhood with a jacked up F-250 Power Stroke who would just leave the thing idling out in the street for 30 minutes. What a POS.

I’m more worried about a psycho/drunk person on the plane than a collision.

The RX and NX PHEVs are not good values. To be fair though, their main competitors: the Volvo XC90 and XC60 PHEVs are priced similarly and are also not good values.

People talking about a compact subwoofer like there is a plywood box with two Kicker 12s stuffed in the trunk. Bass is a part of appreciating music, and this sub isn’t shaking the neighborhood’s windows.

I’d buy a Sienna or a Grand Highlander hybrid...if I could test drive one and have an expectation I’d actually get one in a few months without the dealer packing thousands of dollars worth of bullshit on to the sticker.

Weren’t these supposed to be priced in the 30's, not 60's?

But “luxury” is what their buyers seem to have wanted. I live in a fairly well-to-do area. A loaded Wrangler Rubicon with big wheels/tires and a lift is a popular vehicle with both the 50 year old Dads and the Moms.
